Yeah, I just realized you had to buy and use a pressure pouch with each 5L batch. The mini-keg looks interesting, I may get one and if I like it, pick up 2 more. They hold 1 and 1/3rd gallon, so I guess that will get me most of a 5 gallon brew.. or do you think one should just load one mini-keg at a time and keep the rest of the brew in the secondary fermenter for a while?

If you buy a pre matched recipe kit, it'll usually be fore 5 gallons, but you can just use 2/5ths of the ingredients. A 5 gallon beer recipe kit usually ranges between $20 and $50.

I wish they made little 1 gallon keg type deals to dispense the beer, so I wouldnt have to tap a full keg. That way, I could keep the brew fresher.
Bottling homebrew is too much of a hassle and creates uncomfortableness when you explain to your friend that it is used beer bottles.

The UAW story and all the uproar that surrounded it served as a useful distraction, while the White House/Congress/Treasury allowed 10's, maybe hundreds of billions of dollars to disappear into a blackhole that has no accountability.

No, but really. I dont see the big deal about Canes anymore. I used to think it was awesome and had more flavor when it was just a place by LSU. It has really gone downhill.

I don't really get the big deal about Ruth Chris's, i've eaten there a few times and had the filet each time. The steak was not marblized that well and once it was cooked way too much. The veggies are boring and are just drenched in butter.
Little Village downtown is dirty, but many people I know like that place, I wasn't impressed but then again italian places in BTR have always been run by sketchy people.

One of my sons has had horrible credit, he has recently moved back to Baton Rouge from Atlanta to work for me and also I gave him a house that is only worth $60k or so because it is in poor condition. He needs a loan to renovate the home, but I am curious how likely a bank will be to give him a loan? I would think he would not be able to buy a house, but in this case he already owns the house and will only need to borrow $40k.. so it seems low risk for the bank, since they can foreclose on the house and not worry about being upside down.
Obviously, he needs to see a loan officer, but any idea of min req's? He is worried that he'll be laughed at.
