re: Worst losses in Saints history.

Monday Night Football 1979 versus Oakland.

Saints up 35-14 at the half.

Lost 42-35.

My dad was some kinda mad, and he didn't even watch football much.
10 of the 22 defensive players on the preseason depth chart were injured.
I respect many of you most of the time, and some of you none of the time.

I must be old, dumb, or both.

Maybe just missing something.

Did Dreadlocks of Doom happen, or not?

I must be missing something.

Edit: Reading comprehension fails me again! I see now: basketball and football. Very different.
I think The Scorpions invented the power ballad.

Life's Like a River from In Trance and Always Somewhere from Lovedrive were early indicators of their evolution.

Life's Rich Pageant and Queen is Dead.

Saw both in New Orleans that fall.

I love that story that Charles Barkley tells about Moses Malone calling him fat and lazy. Changed his career.

Need a Moses Malone.

I like the first version of these:

I forgot about these. I've read two of them.

Edit: Spoke to soon. Top 10 for shutouts. Oh well.

When we had Brees it felt like we were never really out of a game. I know that's not entirely true, but if always felt like a good team.

He's a blind squirrel that brazenly proclaimed to the world that he was going to find the most prized nut.

And he did.

We comin'.

If a Google search is the equivalent of the elite experiential advice that is shared on this board, then I have lived in delusion.

While I agree with most on this question - I don't ultimately know regarding this young man and certainly don't care - I'll answer for the sake of knowledge.

Dual enrollment is replacing Advanced Placement courses in many high schools. Students take a greater variety and larger number of courses from the local community college. In many cases these classes transfer directly to the state college. I think the number may be between 5-15 classes.

re: Explain Dylan

Although I did like the early Dylan work when I was younger, I actually really like the stuff he's done for the past 30 years or so, beginning with Good As I Been To You and World Gone Wrong. Even like Triplicate.

I think he's great.

Yeah, not to knock any of our past coaches, but his recall of the game specific situations, he explanation and transparency on decision-making, his complimentary nature toward us, and his support of his players...are impressive.

I've said this before on this board, but I didn't really understand the book until I worked at a prep school in New England.

"...bunch of phonies..."

When I was taking guitar lessons in the 80's, we usually worked on scales. One day the teacher was absent and the owner of the music store ran the lessons. We strummed the same four chords for an hour. It made an impression on me.

Like a taekwondo weekend event that I attended once, and the teacher had us stretch for 30 minutes - until it hurt.

Lars Brownworth has a podcast called 12 Byzantine Emperors and a book entitled Lost to the West: The Forgotten Byzantine Empire that Rescued Western Civilation.

I enjoyed them both.
"Astylos of Croton in southern Italy won a total of six victory olive wreaths in three Olympiads (488-480 B.C.) in the stade and the diaulos (twice the stade) events. In the first Olympiad, he ran for Croton and his compatriots honoured and glorified him. In the two successive Olympiads, however, he took part as a citizen of Syracuse. The people of Croton punished him by demolishing his statue in their city and converting his house into a prison."

If my math is correct, I think we are looking at 2050 or somewhere thereabouts.
