You are basically just paying for the property. Whoever buys it either turns the whole thing into a subdivision or someone buys, tears down the house and builds new

You think pre-social media people in favelas in Brazil or Africans in villages knew Jordan?
It’s not close for Messi and you are a fool if you think otherwise

I can't attest to how they treat their employees, but every building I've seen that they put up has been quality. No offense, but if I don't really care how they treat their employees as long as I get a good product. Of no relevance to me
Cool, good luck with convicts in his drug rehab center (that or jail) on your property

Try Mallet buildings near Jennings. It’s a pole barn. Wooden structure and truss’ with metal envelope. Although it’s not total steel, they are under same engineering as it relates to wind, etc.
As an ex employee, no, don’t try mallett buildings. If you want a building like that, go with Southern Style. Most are former employees of Mallett but don’t treat their employees like shite.

Most property tax increases are on 10-year terms. So you admit you are not going to be in an area for more than a few years, but feel justified in sticking people with a 10-year burden?
Unless it’s a completely incompetent landlord, property taxes are included in monthly rent. Never lived anywhere where when property taxes go up, I haven’t gotten an increase in rent when the lease comes up.
As some else said, I agree that a sanity test should be done first for ALL voters before being allowed to vote, but to say renters shouldnt have a say is just asinine.

You aren't settled and will seek out cheaper rent so why should you be allowed to vote on increases when you are so easily transient?
It’s a lot harder to move than you think for renters past college age that basically only own a shirt on their back.
I’ve never bought because I haven’t lived anywhere more than a few years for my job.
Doesn’t mean while I’m living in an area I shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
Again, I pay more than 90% of people in taxes and could buy a home in cash right now. Doesn’t make sense to buy a place to not live in.

I’m a renter bc I haven’t settled down yet and it’s cheaper for my lifestyle. As someone who pays more taxes than 90% of the population, my vote doesn’t matter?

re: What happened at your work which caused multiple people to all quit at once?
Posted by rowbear1922 on 6/26/26 at 6:15 am to FlyingTigerBo
Worked as an intern for a few months at a company. One morning the entire office gets raided by multiple agencies (multiple parish local sheriffs, Attorney General, etc) and the owner was arrested.
All but 1-2 people quit as soon as the agencies let us out of the conference room.

It’s for the Poors that don’t have a proper chefs kitchen with commercial ventilation in it so they have to do it outside
