Not sure if this is considered quitting or getting fired, but in college I worked at 2 different restaurants. Both had their Christmas parties the same night in relatively the same area. Requested off from both weeks before and for the next morning.

I had already put my 2 weeks at one restaurant and they scheduled me the morning after the parties. I told them I wasn’t coming in (it was the last shift I was schedule for that week).

Even after it, they still put me on the next schedule. I showed up and they told I no longer worked there. Didn’t bother me any and I went home

I feel sorry for Sid. He won an election to take over a city/parish that was robbing non-city citizens to the tune of $40M annually and no longer has that slush fund.
