re: BREAKING: IPCC Climate Models Proven to Lack Predictive Ability

I mean anyone paying attention knew when they first started this that the model used hundreds of worst case assumptions that were never going to be a reality.

He is going to do that to someone's wife and they are going to kick the shite out of him.
I would find that guy if that were my wife, and we would see how tough he is.

It’s flat and ugly, tons of pollutants in the air with south Louisiana type weather. For your extra bonus you get insane traffic, and same types of trashy people to deal with.
You haven't been to the north side obviously, I'm west of Tomball, air here is clean, I have beautiful trees and an elevation change of about 35 feet from the north end of my property to the south end. Development is happening but there are still a bunch of us who have acreage keeping it from being everywhere.

This reminds me of Trump warning Germany about getting their energy from Russia and them ignoring it, should turn out similarly.

This will be one of the few campaigns I will get involved in and financially contribute to, because Cornyn needs to retire.

Despite paying well and having good benefits, VG seems to cycle through a lot of people in certain groups I've worked with. They seem to expect their people to work a lot of hours, but compensate them well for it, so just know what you are getting yourself into.

why are you so racist?
It's clear that the anamoly spread is narrowing as CO2 levels increase, and we are headed for disaster as the earth will eventually remain the same temperature all the time and we won't have any seasons. Flowers won't bloom, birds won't migrate, we will all die from global non-climate change!

This is what happens when AI is generating the story. There are a number of terms that AI uses frequently that are no longer common that make it easy to spot AI content. The interesting thing will be to see if those terms suddenly start to become commonly used again.

I was told get the jab or get fired. I found another job and it has been a great move, but I didn’t run to LinkedIn to post about it, I just found another job.
A federal job isn’t a lifetime appointment, it’s a job, and there are a lot of companies in the science fields hiring. I’ve interviewed a couple of folks in the last week that were from federal agencies.

re: How Did the Climate Change Narrative First Get Its Momentum?
Posted by ithad2bme on 2/24/25 at 8:57 am
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned ENRON yet. They were planning to run and profit from the carbon credit exchanges and so they funded researchers who would push that narrative or discredit anyone who questioned it.

If they are smart they will not release the names of the people who they need votes from and instead will use the leverage to bring the change we need.
I’d take that trade all day long.

re: Any success stories running from the cops?
Posted by ithad2bme on 2/11/25 at 10:00 pm
I saw it happen last week. We live out in the country with lots of trees and woods. A guy in a F150 turned onto our street and drove into the brush on the side of the road that is about 10 feet high on an empty lot. A few seconds later a sheriff goes flying by on the main road, and then the truck backed out and drove back the opposite direction of the cop.
Dude got lucky, he just missed a couple of bigger trees and only hit yaupon, but I’m sure it scratched his truck up pretty bad still.

Keeping them in office so that you can ensure your nominees and agenda get into place is better long term for the country than perp walking them and having them replaced by a radical you have no leverage on.
