petroleum engineering degree

In five years how much weight will this degree hold? Also what are some good sites to learn more about the oil and gas industry?

thanks

students just aren't the back bone of the box like they are in tiger stadium and i just don't think they ever will be ..

That is just you being negative. If the university gives the student section a chance to be the backbone of the box then I think there is a good possibility that they will take it and run with it. Your argument about people going away for summer is bull. LSU has many local students and those local student most likely all grew up on LSU baseball. We dont have a major league team to follow so as kids LSU baseball was THE baseball.

looking at some of these other stadiums on TV in the super regionals .. there are some unique parks out there ... the box is nice, but a little antiseptic to me in a lot of ways .. almost cookie cutter looking .. some peronality over the right field wall is in order .. that is a dead space that needs something done personality-wise with it ..

So you agree that LSU needs to do something with right field....Then what should they do? Would bleachers full of non-students be better than a berm full of crazies?

And bullshite on students not eating. They cant pack the park with students. Concessions in the upper decks of Tiger Stadium dont see much action from

I think students do bring in money for college athletics. Think of what it would be like to play right field with a couple thousand crazy LSU students heckling all game long. Adding a student section will increase the whole value of the product that is an LSU baseball game.
A berm would be cheaper. It would also be easy to maintain. Maybe they can allow RVS and trucks. Swimming pool? There is all sorts of possibilities with it.
The stadium is pretty much full as it is. Adding a special section for a special portion of supporters (LSU students) that do not regularly attend baseball games might sway more students to actually attend ball games. What is the main spark to Tiger Stadium? Dont get me wrong Alex Box is definitely one of the most lively stadiums in the country. But, by giving the students an offer they might come to more games and light the same flame in Alex Box as they do in Tiger Stadium. I agree about the SRO tickets, students deserve more.
....in college baseball. I mean we have the best team, best facilities, and best fans.

re: pass-run percentage

Yeah +1 my friend. One game pound with the UPS ground game and another let it fly. With this talent the more unpredictable the coaches are the better. :geauxtigers:

pass-run percentage

Posted by Rad McCorndog on 5/27/09 at 7:41 pm
is say we will run 65% pass 35%

What percentage do you guys think will make this a successful year. We have a top 3 receiving and running back core in the SEC. So, we should be able to throw and run equally. I am more of an old school guy and love it when the tigers pound whoever they are playing and then hit them with a bomb. I also love when the control the clock and play special teams well but that is a different topic. comments........

Also just for shits and giggles who gets the majority of the snaps on offense?
are we going to bruise it with 32?
pound it with 5?
wiggle and worm with 8?
flash with 10?
go deep with 1?
score with 80?
move it with RR?
how about number 9?

what about touchdowns?
