You can absolutely change branches of service, as I did it. Went from La Nat'l Guard to USN. Had to go to bootcamp again and also new school for my job. It wasn't the easiest process but so glad I did it. I ended up shore based in Hawaii for 6 years. Had the time of my life.
My best friend has a place in Jaco, you can meet the ladies any and everywhere. Alot of the girls there arent' just about the cash, at least not with us. They love to come do things with you and there have been many times where it only costs you for meals and drinks. Many of them don't have much, and they enjoy when the guys show them a lil respect and treat them well. Youd be surprised that they just like to hang out with cool people. Anyways, to each their own, but it can be lots of fun. We're heading back in 2 weeks, can't wait to go.
done, i called
This was one we just got back, a 180 lb striped marlin caught last Dec in Costa Rica

it doesn't matter the cost of the rigs, sooner or later they ALL have some kind of issue whether it's leaks or stuff just breaking. I worked as a finance guy in the industry for a few years and I've seen various scenarios evolve. Enough so that I tell folks don't buy it, rent it! All seriousness though, the production of these things will blow your mind, brand new from factory full of defects. Definitely don't buy anything made during the covid era, same goes for boats. The folks in the factories were replaced by many less skilled individuals and the quality of the work showed for sure. Just my 2 cents :moon:
But, if you're hell bent on buying one, I would get the Super C made by jayco as one of the other posters suggested.

Guy named Mark Belalo, I actually worked with him for a while in Southern Cali. He was from Brazil, one crazy arse mofo. Good dude tho, he was self made. At one time, he had one of the largest valet operations in Cali. He moved here from Brazil and lived out of an old Cadillac he had bought until he got his valet business going then he was quick rich.

Appreciate all of the suggestions! I might end up buying 5 different ones eventually until I find one that's just right.
Sounds like the course of action I have been through. Probabaly spent $400 on pillows in last yr and 1/2. Have been happy with the Nuzzle pillow thus far. I got the bigger size, and so far it's retained it's shape. Ive thrown it in the dryer a few times to refresh but like I said, so far so good for me.

The gift I remember the most is a nice set of Wustof kitchen knives in a block, still using 20 plus years later

I cheaped out and bought a set a few years back. After 5k miles I couldn't take it any longer bit the bullet and went back to BFG. Now I'm a Nitto guy.

or just go to a local dealer and do the paperwork through them
Sorry to tell you but there isn't a dealer that will do another dealers paperwork for a car that they aren't selling you. You can't buy a car from ABC motors and have DEF motors do the sale paperwork. It just doesn't work like that. The only circumstance I can see this happen is if the 2 dealers are in the same owner group, but then it's still more than likely never gonna happen. At my store, we DocuSign and e-sign all out of town deals. Just my 2 cents this wonderful Friday morning.

I had the Marine Deck Mat system in my old Yamaha 195 FSH jetboat. It snapped into the floor. I had the boat 5 years since new and the only issue I had over the time was caused by me holding the dam power washer to close for to long and it tore a small piece of the mat. I loved the fact that it snapped in, made cleaning the boat's decks super easy. Not sure what that system costs as it came with the boat from Yamaha.
as someone in this industry and have sold many ext. warranties in my career, not all of the after-market warranty companies policies are the same. I've seen an EasyCare Total care cover some items that not even the new manufacturers warranty covered. It's all risk/reward. Just like buying a 4x4 truck, most folks will never use the 4wd, but it's great to have and not need it than not having and needing. I'm pro warranty, some folks aren't. To each their own. If you can self insure then roll the dice, if not it's a great option.

I have a Browning Buckmark Hunter that shoots flawlessly. Easily one of my most favorite firearms. You can shoot this thing all day, it's such a blast to shoot. Mine has the suppressor and red dot sights, picked it up for like 800 @ Lafayette Shooters back in 2024. Can't go wrong with this gun. :dude:

I have the Frogg Toggs guide series Jacket and bibs and they are the bomb. Been in some really nasty weather for extended periods of time and they've never failed me. Worth every penny in my book. :dude:
