It's clear from your extensive knowledge of Iran's future intentions that you should immediately apply for the open position of Director of National Intelligence recently vacated when Tulsi Gabbard resigned. What brilliance you have. :rotflmao:
Thomas Massie - Primaried
Brian Fitzpatrick - Currently at even odds with opponent
Tom Barrett - Currently running only 2% above opponent
Warren Davidson. - Currently running less than 4% above opponent. Kalshi saying 80% opponent will win.

Losers all of them
First you say...

quote:

Salvation is the free gift of God’s grace, granted through personal faith in Jesus Christ.

Which I totally agree with, as does the Catholic Church. But then you say...

quote:

It is not earned through good works, church rituals, or anything else

and you go on to say...

quote:

it requires repentance, turning away from sin and accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior

Which are in fact ...

quote:

good works, church rituals, or anything else
not more of a reach than your out of context cherry picking
Do you even see who is running against Paxton? :rotflmao:
It was the IRA that made Ireland attractive to all those military age Muslim "brothers in arms"

Quite the opposite I believe. It is because there are so many and all interpret the gospel in their own way.
quote:

Matthew 23:9 "And call no man your father on earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."

Jesus was referring to the Pharisees and their sinful ways in this passage.

There are many references in the New and Old Testaments that contradict what you are trying to say.

“Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken…” (Acts 7:2)
“Abraham, who is the father of us all.” (Romans 4:16)
“For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.” (1 Corinthians 4:15)
“So it was not you who sent me here, but God; and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt” (Gen. 45:8).
“I was a father to the poor, and I searched out the cause of him whom I did not know” (Job 29:16)
“In that day I will call my servant Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah . . . and I will clothe him with [a] robe, and will bind [a] girdle on him, and will commit . . . authority to his hand; and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah” (Isa. 22:20–21)
Elisha cries, “My father, my father!” to Elijah as the latter is carried up to heaven in a whirlwind (2 Kgs. 2:12). Later, Elisha himself is called a father by the king of Israel (2 Kgs. 6:21)
Well El Paso is a shithole border town so there's that...

I just can't understand why anyone outside of St. George would object to giving the kids a better opportunity to be educated with the City issue finally being resolved.

Because most of those opposing this are lazy, uneducated and will do anything the pastor in their community whips them up to do
I don't see anywhere in the State Constitution that specifies the degree to which amendment affects other communities.
I know that the precedent for Baker, Zachary and Central was to win the election on the state and parish level, but in reading Article XIII Section 1C:

quote:

Ratification. If a majority of the electors voting on the proposed amendment approve it, the governor shall proclaim its adoption, and it shall become part of this constitution, effective twenty days after the proclamation, unless the amendment provides otherwise. A proposed amendment directly affecting not more than five parishes or areas within not more than five parishes shall become part of this constitution only when approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon in the state and also a majority of the electors voting thereon in each affected parish. However, a proposed amendment directly affecting not more than five municipalities, and only such municipalities, shall become part of this constitution only when approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon in the state and also a majority of the electors voting thereon in each such municipality
.

Since this amendment if passed would trigger a reconfiguration of the MFP calculation, that means it would affect THE ENTIRE 64 PARISHES, as well as the other municipal school systems which is a lot more than "not more than five parishes" and even more than "not more than five municipalities". Did I read this correctly? Does this mean the multilevel victory is not necessary?

SG will need two high schools to serve the entire city.

For 5,000 school aged kids? Better make it at least 4.
