re: Industrial technology at selu.

Yes it is a good degree. You can work in manufacturing, Chemical or Oil & Gas plants, industrial contractors, industrial sales, engineering firms, etc.
I only knew of one person in my graduating class become an operator. Its popular for people persuing a Industrial Tech (SELU) degree to say they want to be project manager. I can tell you that it can get you there but you can obtain a highly skilled non manager position and make as much as project managers.
I do scheduling, cost, estimating and have done it on the contractor side, engineering and as a client rep.

This was an intentional VooDoo move by Sean Payton. Sean Payton used Dez Bryant as a sacrificial lamb to the Injury Gods. Our Starters will remain healthy now

Ok I will look into it. Thanks

Different wallets for different currency is getting complicated.
I guess the whole point is to figure this out and be invested before they simplify this and the masses flood in.

ETN , ADA , and after VEN rebrands from ERC -20 token - cant be used with ledger nano- just letting you know
Wow good to know, and this is exactly why I am coming to this board to be informed. Thank you for letting me know.
So the hard wallets can't always be current to the changing crypto world. So best options are online wallets or desktop wallets at this point?

I ordered the Nano ledger for hard storage, most of my coins stay on exchanges for the time being
I was leaning towards the Nano also. Will go ahead and pull the trigger. Don't like my currency being on exchanges but also don't want to set up an online wallet. Guess a few more days should be fine.
Thanks

Waiting on a paycheck to post so you could invest in crypto? Bold strategy Cotton.
I draft money into a separate account for Investments. I'm not betting the mortgage on crypto. I'm simply diversifying.

Makes sense. Now I just sit here like a nobody who is trying to get into a popular club while the bouncer allows all the important people through the velvet rope, lol.
I don't have patience for this. I will be better overtime I'm sure.
Question for you guys... what online wallet and hard wallets are you using? Will be setting up the online wallet and ordering the hard wallet today.

Good morning fellas!
I was a teenager with no money when I missed out on the .com boom. I told myself I would not miss out on anothr renaissance. These things come around only a few times a lifetime.
I'm jumping in the game now. I will buy some VeChain, Electroneum and Cardano to start. Looking to hold on to these long term.
I will follow this board with you guys and hope to share success with you.

re: Construction Management: Industrial and Commercial

I love these threads because everyone talks smack against commercial vs industrial.
I won't talk smack but rather tell you my path so you can collect more info to help steer your decision.
I graduated with an Industrial Technology degree with the concentration in supervision. I made $80k my first year out of college. Made less the second year because of less OT. 10 years later I cracked the $200k mark. $50k of it is from OT and alot of the OT is by choice. I'm a planner scheduler for major projects. I started out in project controls doing estimating, cost, scheduling etc.. but I enjoyed scheduling the most. I can work in engineering offices or I can work in the field. When I did project controls at a major engineering firm, I can tell you I made more than the majority of the engineers and the exceptions were only to senior engineers and engineering managers.
There is a lot of money in industrial. You don't even have to be a PM to make good money. Most PM's come up through the ranks of project controls.

re: Where to get Inspection Sticker
Posted by Beradrebel on 1/10/18 at 11:07 am
Gotta have the baw connection.
I get a sticker without having to go to a shop. Pay $50 for each sticker. Both my vehicles have limo tint on them.
I've been in the position before trying to find the shops that don't check tint and it sucks.

re: Brees throw vs Carolina
Posted by Beradrebel on 1/10/18 at 10:28 am
Those back shoulder throws are incredible for both the QB and receiver. The QB has to throw the ball and time it for exactly when the receiver spins around to find the ball for a split second. The DB's can't read the receivers eyes to defend it. Elite QB and WR duos make that play happen.
re: Kamara is filling a void left when the saints lost sproles.

Yeah I believe the Saints werent ever the same agter Sproles left. If I remember correctly Sproles led the league in all purpose yards one year.
I would like to see Kamara do the same especially now that we have him returning kickoffs just like Sproles did.

Dear Lord I hope so. We owe those West Coast fks!
This. Seattle bounced us out the playoffs twice plus Beast Mode was coined off the Saints failure to tackle and making our defense look like a bunch of clowns.
After Jimmy Graham was traded, the Saints hit a losing streak and Jimmy talked smack on how happy he was about the trade. Bet Jimmy misses the gaudy numbers at a record setting pace in the Saints offense.
I hate Seattle like I hate San Francisco. Let's bounce Seattle this year in the dome and next year bounce San Francisco.
GO SAINTS!

Amazing play just like the 2009 Meachem strip for a TD against the Redskins.
I'm looking for more parallels to the 2009 Super Bowl season in hopes we repeat history.
We have this year's mighty comeback against Redskins just like 2009 and now we have this amazing play.
Go Saints

Ha no. There was a cheaper option to do the procedure with a blade instead of a laser. Never cut cost when it comes to your vision.

How much does it go for these days? Paid like $3200 12 years ago for the premium option.

I find it shocking how chickenshit people get when negotiating pay.
The cost of attracting a new employee over time outpaces your typical 2-3% annual inflation raise.
So every 5 or 6 years if you don't advocate for a catch up raise or test the job market and negotiate an offer you will be habitually underpaid.
No one will be a dedicated advocate like you can be for yourself. If you don't own your business you need leverage to negotiate.
THIS.
I change companies every 5 years or so for some of the reasons stated above. Also when you move around you get exposed to different methods of performing your work and that is how you grow. I have been told by hiring managers that they like to see a person work for several companies within a reasonable amount of time because it means they are probably well rounded and not trained to do things one way.
