I cannot imagine the distress the father and the family feels about this.

Obviously, the father is a fine man or else he would not have surrendered his son. As you know, the State had already indicated he would be seeking the death penalty.

At the same time, I cannot imagine the distress the family of Charlie Kirk feels.

This is stupid. Little Rock would not have won a single game at the CWS.

I don't know what why many fans think it's enjoyable to denigrate an opponent we just defeated. To me, wins are more impressive when we've beaten a formidable opponent. Wins are less impressive if the opponent is "OVERRATED" and we only win by scores of 1-0 and 5-3.

It's not inconsistent to completely dislike an opponent but nonetheless recognize that they are a good team.

This is my lot in life with respect to my favorite high school teams. It's my alma mater.

Every now and then we get some of the best athletes we've ever had and can compete for a state championship, but you can book it that whenever that happens, some other team is also loaded with its best players and theirs are just a bit better than ours.

I echo many of the responses on here. I just hard to believe that LSU has lost 5 straight openers - and it hasn't really mattered whether it was Kelly or Orgeron who was the head coach.

What is in common on all 5 of those games is this - each of our opponents had already played a so-called "Week Zero" game. All were against mediocre to weak teams which gave our opening opponents confidence coming into games with us. We still had first game jitters.

It does not appear that Clemson has a "Week Zero" opponent ahead of our game. That might make some difference.

Who programs the AI? Does it travel from park to park with the umps or does each home field have its own equipment? Is there no way to bias it in favor of one team or the other?

I am not trying to be a smartass. I just have no idea how AI works.
