A lot of businesses are experiencing a similar thing. What always cracks me up is when my AR team reaches out to a customer 90+ days past due and are told “I’ll have to call you when I get back in town. I’m on vacation.”

So you have money for vacation, new vehicles, equip, boats, etc. but can’t pay. Then I’m the a-hole when we send them to collections or file liens.

Travel time - anything over 4 hours of driving is a flight for me
Traveling with adults and kids under 7 - anything over 2 hours needs to be a flight IMO

Helps when you have a population who respects and appreciates the trades. I wonder if home builders over there have to deal with the constant push to get projects done sooner or change orders resulting from Pinterest recommendations.

What’s worse is an annual conference we attend where there are multiple system “experts” presenting in a session that can’t answer audience questions. Then someone in the audience steps up and explains the solution they’ve developed as a result of the faulty system.
