"O" Incentives

Posted by dorianmode on 12/4/19 at 11:30 am
It was reported that Coach O received $250,00 for winning 10 games. Does anyone know the amount he received for wining the West? What about incentives for winning the SEC title?

According to this article, 345 tigers were killed in India between April 2014 and May of this year. Why would PETA object to LSU having a tiger and saving the animal from a similar fate in India?

Baseball recruiting question

Does anyone know the number of official visits a baseball recruit is allowed? I know in football its 3 official visits.

The LSU defense held Ole Miss to their lowest point total thus far.

Will the Box/Tiger Fans intimidate this team.? Their attendance record was 5.400.

Alex Lange & Jared Poche

Just checked summer leagues for returning LSU players and neither Lange nor Poche are listed. Anyone know why they're not participating?

Ticket Prices for Regionals

Posted by dorianmode on 5/26/14 at 5:17 pm
I thought that the NCAA set ticket prices for regionals/super regionals but apparently that is not the case. Just checked some other athletic web sites and prices vary according to the university.
I have a MacBook Pro that's about 4 years old. I use Safari and Firefox and am able to watch games on GeauxZone without any problems. Could it be the Google browser?
Took my nephew to the campus in the summer of 2002. We were at Mike's cage and Nick came walking by. I asked if we could get a picture and he complied. He was nice to us and even smiled.
Big difference. Cody Glenn was suspended for breaking team rules. That could be anything from skipping class or habitually late for practice. He was not arrested. Jeremy Hill has a record.

Ball Park Comparisons

I was interested in getting information regarding Oklahoma's baseball facility. Don't know if this has been posted yet:

Quick Facts: L. Dale Mitchell Park
Year Opened 1982
Renovated 2002, '08, '09, '11, '12
Official Capacity 3,180
Largest Crowd 4,544 vs. Texas (5/4/1995)
Dimensions LF: 335, CF: 411, RF: 335

I found this first paragraph on the Sooner baseball site to be intriguing:

"Consistently voted as one of the top playing surfaces in college baseball, L. Dale Mitchell Park provides a state-of-the-art facility for the OU baseball program."

I don't know if they have played in a venue like The Box.

Huey Long?

Have you read any history? :banghead:
I've been to three LSU/Bama games in Tuscaloosa and their fans were always fantastic and cordial to us.

Anyone else who subscribes to this service experiencing difficulties with video? I had absolutely no problems last year and now my video freezes every three to four seconds. Using same computer and have not changed settings.

I like Mike Leach. His esoteric schemes would work perfectly with this team.

Does anyone have....?

Anyone have information or suggested web links regarding LSU top baseball recruits (from last year) who opted out for MLB? I'm particularly interested in those two pitchers who took the $$ right out of high school.

Thanks

(Chris Graythen/Getty Images)The storm clouds are gathering over Baton Rouge. Just three years removed from a national championship, Les Miles is taking heat—a lot of heat—from the LSU faithful. An 8-5 season in 2008 was followed up by a 9-4 mark in 2009, and down on the bayou, that just doesn’t cut it. Though Miles continues to recruit well, all of that “speed” he’s brought in doesn’t seem to be doing him any good. Quarterback Jordan Jefferson is talented but wildly inconsistent, and the Tigers’ offense has been mediocre at best since 2007. In the SEC, ‘Bama is known for crushing defense and Florida is known for innovative offense. As for LSU? Well, these days, they’re known for nothing. Except maybe underachievement.
