Last night some concerned posters commented how Bama outnumbered LSU 15 to 1 in the Quarter. As we all know, most Tigers were in the Dome or donning Black & Gold last night. But...

Anyway, I was in the city all night tonight. Have no fear. Was at least 70-30 in favor of LSU, really more like 80 to 20. Most in my group agreed. This was not just the Quarter or one area of it, but the entire loop between Jax, Quarter, Boubron, Canal, Poydras & close to Dome. We did it all. Hopefully, it will be about 60-40 LSU, mayber better, in Dome tomorrow.

Benchwarmer - true re punts, but in regulation Bama attempted I believe 6 field goals (4 were long - 3 missed & 1 blocked) and made 2 of the 6. We only attempted 2 regulation field goals, making both, & elected to punt & pin them deep several times instead of trying 50 yard plus field goals. That explains the "punt v. punt" discrepancy, I think !

For next season I think he absolutely will -- if he is smart.

Great Post Raza. If I had not personally been at that game & a separate game in Athens few years back, I would been inclined not to believe anyone could say such things. But I have seen it firsthand.

It was so bad at end of 1st quarter in the Georgia Dome. In the restroom, the UGA fans were convinced that the game was over, the route was on, their defense was better than both LSU's & Bama's combined (seriously - they said that), & we wouldn't even score a TD. I reminded them that it was a 4 quarter game, & I conceded the 1st quarter to them. I then reminded them that halfway through the 2nd quarter, Arkansas was up 14-0, so they shouldn't get too excited yet. They all laughed in my Face!

Bill - speaking of sharing, I was in Atlanta Friday night & word is Nick, Herbstreit & Chris Fowler may have shared a room!

Simple, VA Tech & Stan ahead of OSU because they are 11 & 1, not 10 & 1. OSU still has its final season game to play, which they must win to stay in the hunt. If 2 loss Oregon wins Pac 12 CG, they should place ahead of a non-Pac 12 champ Stanford (who lost to Oregon anyway), so Stanford will fall back & be eliminated from discussion. The key is VA Tech. They need to lose Sat. Otherwise, I think they will take too many votes away from OSU, allowing Bama in at #2.

Actually, & I certainly don't want this, but if UGA wins I think it could impact Bama's chances. Pretty sure LSU would still be in NC based on everything I have read & seen. But how could voters then justify sending two SEC West teams to NC, neither of whom are a conference champ & 1 of whom didn't even win its division, over say a Big 12 champ OSU or an ACC champ Va Tech. The non-SEC conferences would revolt. If UGA wins, may increases chance of a LSU v. OSU/Tech NC game.
