Yes, he has sued the NCAA in several cases. So, the guy knows a bit about how these cases work.
In the Chambliss case, the NCAA fought it all the way to the Mississippi Supreme Court, where the court denied the NCAA's appeal to block the lower court's decision.
In the current 5-for-5 cases, the NCAA is 3-0 when seeking appeals to block injunctions.

This guy makes a good point about the layered approach, especially if the CFP adds a ban. I can't see any school, even LSU, taking the risk of playing these guys.

September 29 is a date to circle. This is when the next hearing is set for the California case that made Clarkk and Dent eligible. If a stay is issued, as has been in the Colorado & Ohio cases, then they would be ruled ineligible. LSU has an exhibition game vs. McNeese October 8.
NCAA granted another stay, this time in Tennessee. A trend worth tracking with the Dent/Clarkk hearing date so close to the start of the season

Dessert - entered the '25 NBA draft and went undrafted.
Niang - entered the '25 NBA draft and was selected 58th.
It appears that all 3 fall under the current rule, since there is no carve-out for international players.

Yes, they did. I made a rather detailed post earlier in this thread on the new "actual and necessary expenses" and the uncertainty around it. I think I might have been called "retarded" for bringing it up.

The NCAA never explicitly said they were enforcing the new international rules this cycle. Many coaches, including Wade, were operating under the assumption that the new rules wouldn't be enforced until next season. The NCAA issued a clarifying statement today.

I have no clue how this one works, but I have seen several legal experts who are all in on 5-for-5 say that the conferences have a very strong position here. I would imagine the SEC has solid counsel.

Except Mitchell didn't sign his E10 contract and is still eligible to play for Kentucky until a stay is issued in the Kentucky case.
It appears RJ Luis (LSU), Bryson Warren (Texas A&M), and Akoldah Gak (Oklahoma) are excluded from SEC play under the new rules.

Mitchell gained eligibility via a Kentucky 5-for-5 case. Sankey has mostly commented on 5-for-5 in broader terms and has not focused on individuals.
