What?
Someone is going to end up paying $10 million for his services.

Thanks for reading the entire post. I'm glad you took the time to respond.

Did you even bother to read the rest of my post? Also, those are facts.

LSU is missing one of the best PGs in the SEC and lost Reed earlier in the season. Even with CMM bringing him along slowly, Reed was Top 5 in minutes, points, and rebounds on the team when he was injured.
CMM is without two of his Top 5 players right now. However, the loss at home to SC was just horrible, and CMM doesn't get the benefit of the doubt this season, given past performance.

Will it be a social media post about Leavitt to LSU that runs off the USC QB?

that is pure begging after a major screwup. let's be honest here
It's been posted that Lane went to Tenn last night and secured a secret deal with Leavitt. The trip to Miami is just a smoke screen to throw off the Canes.

This roster costed 2 million dollars
Thomas Jr got close to $2 million; he was one of the top guards in the portal. Then they had to pony up to keep Miller. The roster is probably close to $5 million.

Well he did take him to the basketball game then while they were at the basketball game it was breaking LSU was going all in on Williams from Washington.
And this board more than played its part, with everyone posting the pic of Leavitt looking at his phone during the game and Lane sitting next to him, looking smug.

If Thomas is back, then UK and Mizzo at home are both winnable games. After that, the only games that LSU is likely to be favored in are SC and Ole Miss. However, if Thomas misses UK and Mizzo, then the season is over.
You can't really pull that move, pump it up on social media, and then come up empty handed. Go up there under the radar, and if something works out, then great.

Anyone know what the Dedan Thomas injury is?
Noncontact lower leg injury, and he's listed as doubtful for today. However, you'll find more info about LSU signing a backup OL in the portal than you will about this injury in the local media.
Apparently, he reinjured an injury he had played through in the past. CMM has said that Thomas has a ways to go, and there are whispers that they don't think it's season-ending.

Have you thought about how much it takes to retain players and rebuild the roster? They weren't just going out to get 7 $5 million guys.

I don't think people realize the insanely low numbers we're at post BK. He left a real mess.
It's crazy, given the talent that comes out of LA each year, that Lane has to almost completely rebuild the WR room. Granted, a few guys left that would have potentially been nice contributors on offense next season.
Most of the major schools rosters are still primarily made up of high school recruits. Oregon only has 23 transfers on their roster, for example.
Oke Miss wins by double digits if they put up 38
Missouri, Mississippi State, and Texas have all played below expectations so far this season, but are all showing signs of turning it around. That's bad news for LSU, because they were ranked ahead of all three in NET, KenPom, etc.
Going into the game last night, LSU was a 10 seed in the latest Bracketology. That really was a devastating loss vs. a very bad team. It was inexcusable.

When was the last time LSU was down 25 at the half at home?
