quote:Brings the movies too far from reality. One masked person fighting crime is already a stretch of reality. Putting two in at one time doesn't fit Nolan's view.
robin would have probably changed my opinion on the new movie

Ness sucked
That little ball he shot with up + B nullified the other person's jump. Combine that with long distances and he was the best team mate when you needed to keep someone from getting back.
Also, his down + A when he was floating in the air, if you used it when someone was beneath you, they would be kicked downwards so quickly that there was no way for any character to get back.
Ness had more kill moves than any other character. You just had to know how to use them.
Also, this is about the 64 version. Melee and Brawl both blew chunks.

After reading the Mario Kart 64 thread, I started thinking about this game. Who did you use and why? What was your favorite level?
Star Fox - reflect shield ftmfw
Donkey Kong - throw, throw, and more throw w/ an occasional super punch
Star Fox level was the best in the game with Zelda level next.
eta. I expect 90% of the responses are gonna be Capt. Falcon. Dude was a bitch though.

Knew the shortcuts for these. Wario Stadium was particularly bad arse.
DK's jungle also had a glitch shortcut where you would fall through the level.

Yoshi or Toad with Luigi coming up third. Peach fourth. Yoshi had the best drift boost though.
Koopa Troopa Beach is best level in the game. If you jump at the right time at the end of the ramp, you don't need the mushroom.
Got to play that game last night. Still kick arse at it. :pimp:

The episode where they spend the entire time in the parking garage looking for their car is one of my favorites.
But like someone said, you cannot pick a best Seinfeld episode. They are all in good in their own right.

re: Is the single player RPG dying?

quote:I cannot stand the fighting style implemented in those games. I bought the last one and it was just way too damn repetitive.
Final Fantasy
Morrowind and the Fallout titles were the best of the single player RPGs. I had over 100 hours of gameplay on Morrowind: Oblivion during undergrad. I played it for an entire semester and it had enough content to keep me interested.
I seriously hope that this MMO fever slows down. There can only be some many MMOs out there. Maybe the market will get saturated and they will start putting out single player rpgs again.
Oh and to whoever said that Fable 3 was the best he had played, that game was not worth the money. End rant.

Reg: All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
Attendee: Brought peace?
Reg: Oh, peace - shut up!
Reg: There is not one of us who would not gladly suffer death to rid this country of the Romans once and for all.
Dissenter: Uh, well, one.
Reg: Oh, yeah, yeah, there's one. But otherwise, we're solid.

Ex-Leper: Okay, sir, my final offer: half a shekel for an old ex-leper?
Brian: Did you say "ex-leper"?
Ex-Leper: That's right, sir, 16 years behind a veil and proud of it, sir.
Brian: Well, what happened?
Ex-Leper: Oh, cured, sir.
Brian: Cured?
Ex-Leper: Yes sir, bloody miracle, sir. Bless you!
Brian: Who cured you?
Ex-Leper: Jesus did, sir. I was hopping along, minding my own business, all of a sudden, up he comes, cures me! One minute I'm a leper with a trade, next minute my livelihood's gone. Not so much as a by-your-leave! "You're cured, mate." Bloody do-gooder.
That movie has so many memorable quotes.

quote:I agree it was a great zombie movie. The only people who I ever hear complaining about it are those who don't like zombies who run. I have no problem with that.
Good cast with real actors and great directing.
Best made zombie movie top to bottom.
I especially liked the fact that as time went on, the zombies slowly decayed more and more.
