One of the guys in my office retired in February and started the next week. I'll have to check his progress but he's still out there
Marathon + Destiny raid mechanics

I don't think I'll get to cryo archive, but Bungie went for it with the latest map.
I've accepted that destiny 2 died with final shape. Go ahead and assume marathon will carry the torch to destiny 3. And destiny 3 only happens if marathon is successful.
I thought it was going to flop but Bungie gun play combined with interesting extraction mechanics has led to a steady first few weeks.

Time will tell if they can keep it up

How's the vendors at this thing? Worth making a trip from Hammond for? Or is the sportsman show down in laplace a better expo?

I've been trying to get a family vacation out that way to check out some fishing out there. Going to broken bow instead this year.

There's a native falcon 11? on marketplace for $600 and a 2013 Jackson cuda 12 for $400. I hadn't really looked at native until you brought them up.

I'm going to take a look at the ones you mentioned.

I've got a line on a coosa hd for $600. Only thing holding me back is the weight on those. Kinda just what something I can throw and go. That's why I've been really looking at the primo's, it's about 25 pounds lighter and 2 feet shorter. I'll be throwing it on top of an older land cruiser, so I've got to get it up high.

I had a diablo amigo about 10 years ago, I didn't use it in the right environments so it wasn't the best experience.

original coosa, coosa hd,

Looking to float the tangi River and upper amite River. Got some creeks that run behind my parents property to hit as well.

I'm trying to keep it under $1k so marketplace has been where I've looked.

I've taken a look at the primo, and hoping to run into a used smallie or shoalie

Maybe the best burger ive ever had at One Thirteen.

I used to tell people to get the burger when they went. But the last time I went it was not the same in a bad way. All the other food at one thirteen has always been very underwhelming in my opinion.

I've got a 7 or 8 acre pond in Ponchatoula you could fish from the bank.

Also I've never launched anything bigger than a kayak but I'd be willing to hold the rope to get it in the water. Wouldn't mind learning some boat etiquette as well.

I'm usually off on Mondays, shoot me an email lucas.burge86@gmail.com

Louisiana State Police arrested the head of a Palos Verdes-based disaster recovery company Thursday on suspicion of stealing more than $320,000 from victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Steve Slepcevic, the 41-year old founder and chief executive officer of Paramount Disaster Recovery Inc., evaded authorities for days before arriving at St. Tammany Parish courthouse in a white 7 Series BMW to turn himself in,

quote:

His former business partner and Paramount attorney Matthew Todd was arrested in California early Monday morning and is in a Los Angeles County jail awaiting extradition to Louisiana. Another former Paramount employee, Michael Mekeel, 38, has agreed to turn himself in to authorities in the coming days, Adams said.

The three are accused of conspiring to use forged checks to steal insurance proceeds from hurricane victims, according to warrants and an affidavit filed in early September. Slepcevic is also accused of four counts of money laundering, the court records say.

The arrests come two months after a Times investigation found that Paramount had left a trail of fraud complaints, lawsuits and government investigations from Mississippi to California over the last decade. Slepcevic and his company have eluded authorities thanks to lackluster enforcement and the loose web of state regulations that govern roving insurance adjusters and contractors known as storm chasers, the investigation found.

quote:

“They took my insurance check and kept the money,” said Danny Denoux, a former New Orleans police officer who filed one of the complaints against Paramount. “While my wife was cooking on a hot plate on the second floor for a year because we had no kitchen, I’m sure [Paramount employees] were basting on the beach with my . . . money.”

Adams, who was assigned the case last September, said he was surprised that other law enforcement agencies had not pursued the case sooner. Authorities he contacted in two other states said they were not doing anything, and the local FBI office told him “it’s a California issue,” Adams said.

“It’s not a complex scheme,” Adams said. But “when they cross state lines, they make it difficult for these agencies to chase them.”

I had just about finished benchamin 2 when this started, so I'm 2 months in on bench specific plans. Shoulders have been holding up so far but I've intentionally taken it light.

I think I may go with pool season 2 or silver back after this is over.
Looks like someone associated with the Pink Agave is opening there under the name "Ricky's".

Facebook Page only describes it as a neighborhood bar and kitchen. Address is listed for Mariners location.

Doing the same this week, probably lost a set or two by trying to catch up this week.
Might be too late but planning a trip up to Hot springs in April and will be near Lake Ouachita.

Does anyone have a recommendation or any experience with guide services up there for striper's or bass/crappie/bluegill?
