Yeah, Enquist is being so benevolent saying it won’t cost LSU anything. It will cost the Public mightily and developers are not doing this project to lose money. These economic development districts are created in areas where there are no residents to avoid having to conduct an election to increase sales taxes. They know voters will reject such increase. Sales taxes in BR are the highest in the country now and will be insane when you make a purchase inside their “district.”
