Yes, I understand that but I have a brokerage account and for a very long time, my withdrawals will only be considered long term gains which, because I’m managing my income level via strategic withdrawals, will be at a zero tax rate. In essence, it’s almost just like a Roth.

My daughter and son in law just bought a house and the inspector came up with a list of 10 or so things to be corrected. Nothing major but way too involved for DIY. Thanks ahead of time.

I put everything possible on a CC, pay it off monthly and get cash back at year end. It works for us.

I retired a year ago at 58. Best decision I ever made and it’s even better than I had imagined. And yes, stress free Sunday nights are awesome. Then again, every night is stress free and awesome.

Thanks. That still involves Roth conversions, which can easily get you to no taxes. But I don’t consider that “pulling $100k and not paying any taxes”, as mentioned above. You did pay taxes, but you paid earlier at 12%.
