As for this comment, when I worked at a walk-in clinic between undergrad and med school, half of our patients were coming for sore throats and wanting a strep test.

That doesn't mean that most people that have sore throats go to the Dr. for a strep test.
FYI sore throats are very common :lol:
That's the only time I ever went to the Dr. for a strep test, and that was just because I had a bad sore throat and I had been around someone that had strep.
