I don't think you are being fair to the kid. He was trying to play in the SEC as a true freshman OT when he is probably a OG. It is way too early to conclude that he is a bust. I don't think anyone is ready to pencil him in as a starter next year but he could redshirt and learn under (hopefully) better coaching.
In the past few years, high quality OL in the portal were rare. It's not like we can just "start from scratch" go out and get 5 NFL draft picks on the line for next year.

How do I do the flush????
Be careful with this. Doing a full flush on a high mileage transmission can cause issues. I think I'd try a drain + fill plus mesh filter change first.

I don't think Austin Simmons is that great.
I haven't seen him play but if he was starting over Chambliss, he has to be better than Van Buren?

Dude is a true Tiger. It is very unlikely he is retained by who ever the next coach is. He’s done a great job this year in my opinion. He embodies what it means to be a Tiger. He also didn’t need to come to be the coach in our time of need for the position.
Agree on all counts. I think the DL is much improved this year. I'm sure part of that is having Gooden this year and getting a healthy Guillory back but I think Kyle has done a good job.
If Kiffin is hired there is chatter that he would hire Orgeron as his DL coach. I'm not sure I'd trade Kyle for Ed.

Sure, all of these make our lives easier. But the share number of monthly bills today are incomparable to 50 years ago.
True, but in some cases today's services save money. Like if you subscribe to Spotify, you are saving money over buying albums or CDs in the 1980s. An album in the 80s was around $8 which is like $20 today. So Spotify costs less than one album per month.
We all shared one landline phone but we paid 10 cents a minute for long distance. It was long distance for us to call friends in a town 9 miles away. I bet if you add that up, it would be about the same as a wireless family plan today.
re: Verge Ausberry confirms LSU is willing to sacrifice portal period for CFP coach (and more)

There's another side to this. Is the current LSU roster going to trust the search committee enough to forego their opportunity to enter the portal?
Our roster could be decimated with a limited number of incoming recruits and lots of transfers out of the program.

Replacing a financed vehicle every 4-5 years with another financed vehicle is financial suicide, especially at today's rates.

As for the 10 speed, there are some kits you can buy to get upgraded parts and improve reliability.
So to make this trick reliable, you need a top end engine and transmission rebuild? No thanks.

I think Mazdas with Skyactiv need to be checked with the oil hot or they will read too low. Check the procedure in your manual. You have to run it up to operating temp then wait 10 minutes to check it.

Wheel bearing? If you are still hearing the sound when you aren't on the brake pedal, I'd suspect the wheel bearing.

Not sure where you are but Pitcock Automotive in Richardson is solid.
re: Opting out is not the problem...it's the symptom...

As a fan of the sport I wish it wasn't this way but I completely understand. I wonder where it is all going? Like will we see players opting out of games after their team is out of contention for a championship?
For example, it made no sense for Texas A&M's Devin Achane to play in the LSU game. It really made no sense for him to play in any game after their third loss because they were out of the conference race and he had plenty of plays on film for NFL scouts. I hope it doesn't go this way, but I predict it will.

I don't think the ULL thing is really a factor for most people. I think people are nervous that Napier is a Sun Belt head coach with no experience running a P5 program. There was a great thread on this forum a couple of weeks ago that listed the successful G5 head coaches who made the jump to P5. It was amazing how many had failed. I think people are worried that Napier is the next Butch Jones.

You could add Derek Dooley to the unsuccessful list but he wasn't really that successful at La Tech.
Al Golden flopped at Miami.
Willie Taggart, one mediocre season at Oregon before he flopped at Florida State.
Not sure where you'd put Gus Malzahn. He had a few good seasons at Auburn, even played in the NCG his first year.

re: How good of a head coaching job has Aranda done at Baylor?

Nope not bullshite. The board turned on Aranda midway through 2019 season. His approval rating climbed back up a bit after the NCG but most posters here were not upset that he left for Baylor.
