OK, that makes sense, but how about shooting deer at feeders because they're not trapped but they also aren't in a natural setting. Just curious.

When it comes to trapping wild pigs, YouTube does not allow any kill shots to be filmed, so why is it okay for YouTube to show hunters killing a deer or alligator? Am I missing something here?

Unless you've lived under a rock for the past 20 years, it's no secret that the SEC has been the dirtiest conference in college football in terms of going to any length to land a top player - money, cars, houses, jobs for parents/relatives/girlfriends - and the SEC and the NCAA turned a blind eye to it.
Now that LSU wants three players who weren't good enough to make an NFL roster to join them, now there's a problem and the conference is suing LSU. What a joke! I find it comical that for many, many years the conference rules and bylaws didn't matter, but suddenly now they do!

Do think all 64 new players on the team want to be at LSU or are here strictly for the money? IMO, most of the transfer players are at LSU for the money and will leave if they get a bigger offer elsewhere or are upset LSU didn't bow down to their every demand.

First, let me say, I can't stand Simmons and I think he's POS and will never be a fan of his. With that being said, however, do you think your feelings about Simmons would change today since most of the players are coming for the money and couldn't care less about LSU?
College athletics quickly losing its fun factor

Not sure about you, but Saturday mornings during football used to have a different feeling. The air seemed a little crisper, you had a little more pep in your step and there was an electricity in the air that you could feel. Every grocery store and home improvement business was filled with customers proudly sporting their favorite team. Well, how quickly things can change!
This year LSU will have around 64 new players - including former NFL players - and we already know there's a good chance many of the 64 will jump ship after the season. I still hope LSU wins every game, but it's hard to root as hard as I did before when I know most of those players aren't there to proudly wear an LSU jersey, but are just there for a paycheck.
Honestly, I could easily see interest in college football begin to wane quickly because it's hard to root for players that you know don't care a lick about the school they signed with!

For most avid college football fans, National Signing Day on the first Wednesday in February ranked right up there with Christmas, Thanksgiving and even wedding anniversaries. Since the transfer portal and NIL have completely destroyed that day, why not change it up and put the focus on the real players....the money guys!
I could see ESPN eating this up with charts and financial analysts breaking it all down. Each team could set up a venue slammed full with its fans and boosters could walk up to the table, fill out a blank check and hold it up for the fans to see and then the players they purchased with the money walk out from behind the curtains.
What rich guy doesn't want his ego stroked a little bit and told how great he is. I could see one of them at the last second writing a second check for another $500,000 and the place goes crazy.
Listen, I hate the TP and NIL under its current setup, but if you can't beat'em, you might as well join them! It's a crazy idea, but that's where college football is at right now!

I think it's safe to say that Johnson's job is very secure at this point, but Cajuns are not known for their patience, so can he afford another dismal season and still be safe or does his seat begin to get a little warm?
I think everyone likes Johnson as HC, but two bad seasons following a NC season isn't going to go over well with any fan base. Next season is not a make or break season, but he can't afford another disaster without the pressure starting to build up.

How much should NIL budget play in expectations of 1st year SEC coach?

IMO, I think if you have a large NIL budget - which most SEC teams do - the expectation is extremely high from the very beginning because you can basically go out and buy a team. For instance, Kiffin has a 40M budget, so I expect him to win a lot, challenge for SEC championship and make the playoffs at the very least.
I'm not saying all new SEC HCs have to win a NC, but a 10-win season or something very close is a must. Of course, I do give teams like Vandy, South Carolina and Missouri a little break because they simply are not the football factories most SEC teams are and don't have the massive NIL budget of other SEC teams.
What are your thoughts?

This is definitely a big year for Dom, but it's hard to hold a player's first year right out of high school against them. He got playing time because we were so bad along the DL, so hopefully we can start building true depth and not have to rely so heavily on true freshman to come in and contribute. It's okay to play true freshmen, but Dom came in with a lot of pressure because we were horrible along the DL.
