It’s going to be really funny when the day comes where ole Elliot makes a rom com. It’ll be interesting to see who he/she goes after. Man? Woman? Other trans? I’m being stupid, but does that seem out of the realm of possibility?

I was kind of referring to the hate it gets, but I agree, I love this film for the most part. I think it’s pretty good. It knows what it is and is just pure comic book fun (even the stupid parts).

It’s crazy to think where college football is now, compared to what it was back then. Paterno started at Penn St. in 1966, but didn’t get a national championship until 1982 and 1986. Had some great years in between that time, but I wonder if he would’ve survived some of those subpar years without a national championship in today’s cfb climate. I don’t know enough about Penn St. in that time to understand what the expectations might have been.
