A lot of the players you listed are gay and none of them was anointed by the media as the savior of their league. So they were more accepted by the black players. CC brought a lot of attention to the league and was resented for it, even though she ultimately is the entire league's meal ticket (everyone's salary just increased significantly).

Well before Clark got there. Either blacks, gay blacks, or gay whites ran the league. When Clark entered the league as a straight white female with a lot of fanfare... All the blacks, especially the really gay blacks didn't take too kindly to the media and fanbase anointing a straight white woman as the savior of the WNBA. So the blacks and gay blacks teamed up together and began to target and assault the straight white savior of their league, to an extreme extent that no other player has ever been targeted and assaulted before in the WNBA.
It's all on his back issues. He's had them since high school. They are debilitating. Doctors can't figure it out. He's playing in legitimate pain (he's admitted this) while trying to learn NBA basketball and play at NBA speed. It was a bad pick by us, bc I am assuming we had access to his medicals and we have never been a place where basketball players come to heal. We simply picked the best shooter available and "hoped" his back would start feeling better after 4-5 years of it feeling bad.

Wide as possible backswing. I also like to tuck my left shoulder underneath my chin on the backswing. Just make sure the first foot or so of your back swing, the club goes straight back vs whipping it immediately inside and getting stuck.
Downswing: Feel like you are keeping your back to the target for as long as possible, vs trying to rush the downswing with arms.
Downswing should be started with the lower body, generating ground force, and if it's sequenced correctly, you should create a ton of lag and barely feel like you are swinging the club/releasing the club, etc. The ball should just be getting in the way vs trying to actively hit it and steer it down a fairway.

To be fair, I advocated for the Pels to trade Trey for a top 11 pick, other assets and pick Mara.

I'd waive Zion and pick this guy up in a heartbeat. Would be an instant upgrade in the community. Basketball court effect is probably a wash.

Here's an idea, instead of letting Zion half arse trot around like a loser to up his guaranteed money from 25 to 42 mil (which now makes him a bottom 3 contract in the league), maybe discipline him for not trying for essentially 7 straight years, save the cap space, and keep Jose.
I'm happy for Jose, but let's not act like we didn't have options to pay a key team leader and the fanbase 's favorite player. Benson, Dumars, and Weaver chose to be Zion's bitch instead. Don't let that part of the story be untold.

The issue w pick 5 is this is considered a top 4 heavy draft. Now, I do personally like Acuff and the Keaton dude, but not entirely sure how they fit in with Fears. Acuff especially would be a tough fit. So would we be trading to 5 to pick Ament or Mara still? I'd hope not.
Shut up man. Zion is fiercely underrated. He almost won the Pelicans a play in game 3 years ago. You are just a bully. Zion is still young. He is one of the most efficient offensive players in league history. I just placed a bet for Zion to win MVP.
Claxton honestly sucks and he gets paid a gazillion dollars. Idk who his PR guy is, but I think he's overrated at this point and a contractual albatross. He's one of the few players in the league that I wouldn't actually trade Zion for.
8 plus Kuminga honestly isn't bad. I like that better than the Pistons offer of Holland, Beef Stew, 21, and maybe a future first

I'm an LSU fan. I don't blindly root for people based on that. Sam has a problem closing. It is what it is.

This is Sam's MO. As soon as he gets closer he will collapse. It's easy to make a charge when you are 7-8 back.

Trey Murphy has outperformed his draft position and become a role player on a team that can win a championship. Dude averaged 10 points a game in college. Zion was supposed to be the next MJ. Instead, he sucks. He's the seafood gumbo hentai porn addict version of Collin Sexton with 1/10th of the heart of Sexton.
