eBay takes about 13-14% in my experience. Probably the quickest way you can move the cards. It’s also going to get the most eyes on the cards. If the value of the cards is less than $20 choose the plain white envelope shipping option. It costs $1.36. I can’t stand seeing a $5 card for sale with the shipping also costing $5.
You could also join team/player collector groups on Facebook and try there. No fees unless someone pays you PayPal gifts and services which is a 3% fee.

They could have made this equivalent deal, but the Dodgers would have just increased the offer to make sure they got him. And they know they'll resign him, so it's all worth it. I am pissed the Brewers and/or Rays didn't make the Dodgers pay a steeper price though.
They couldn’t deplete their farm system for 2 months if Skubal. They’d be in a hole for years. Dodgers could care less about their farm season because they’ll keep signing the biggest free agents.

Dodgers able to sell their farm system because they don’t need a farm system. They’ll just buy everyone else’s best players to replenish their roster.
Tampa or Milwaukee need their farm systems and couldn’t make this deal.

Ohtani with a lead off bomb to celebrate the release of this nothing burger podcast.

Nothing will come from it. ESPN brought it back up to get some clicks. Which it looks like it will be successful in getting. Notice it was released after NBA done, World Cup done, before college and NFL football. No current deal with MLB. WNBA just isn’t getting it done for them.

I feel like if your selling a card... They will go pawn stars rick on you and say the corners are busted. But, if your buying the same card, it will be priced sky high. u will never win
This is the problem grading has solved. A non involved third party has weighed in on the condition of the card making it more liquid and moveable as both a buyer and a seller. Especially with the online sales where the card is not even in the potential buyer’s hand.

The problem with the late 80s-90s is the overproduction of a single base card. There were no variations or serial numbered cards like there are now. The base card everyone else that collected also had is in fact not worth hardly anything now unless it has been graded and grades well. PSA 10 copies of those common base cards of Jordan, Griffey, and the Shaq rookies are worth hundreds to thousands now due to condition scarcity. The cards were very common so the base cards in less than perfect condition are not valuable. Very rare inserts of the right players from that era are worth money regardless of condition.

Ohtani has treated me well the past few years since I got back in. I would buy singles of all time greats vs ripping packs if you care about retaining value. All the all time greats are increasing in value right now.
Also, Fanatics has invested a ton of money into sports cards since buying Topps, and now that Topps has taken over the licenses for all three big US sports I don’t think the momentum in the hobby stops any time soon.

They really need to separate TCG and sports cards - increased pricing and in increased wait times for TCG.

Yep. He’s grinding it out on the mound without his best stuff. Still gets through 6 innings with no hits. Oh, and the lead off bomb.

re: Sports Memorabilia: What do You Own?

Mostly LSU memorabilia. Billy Cannon and YA Tittle signed retro helmets, replica BCS title trophies, replica Biilly Cannon Heisman trophy, all the Waterford helmets/balls from football and baseball championships, team issued shoes (what I believe team issued at least), a few pair of Nike vapor gloves from years ago.
Here are my best sports cards. My kids got me back into collecting a few years ago. Thankfully bought the Ohtanis before he went nuclear.

A’s no hit bid goes astray

A’s pitcher JT Ginn takes no hit bid to the bottom of 9th against Angels. A’s up 1-0. MLB network switches over and he promptly gives up a single and a walk off HR. Oof.
