I would be much happier getting Ford and Montgomery than Richardson.
Why no talk of Michael Dyer? His highlight video shows an amazing mix of power and speed. He runs great in traffic.

Calm down guys. Let's get through this signing day before we start worrying about 2010.

I hear you, but I was reaching for something different to discuss. Not trying to stir up concern. Only curious if someone had a good explanation.

It seems risky to offer Nick Montana without extending one to Broadway if we have sincere interest in the in-state kid. Can't help but notice that Bama has already offered TB. What gives?

I am sick of the "switch hats" trick that some of these kids do. I think it shows a lack of respect to people and universities that have invested lots of time and energy in their recruitment. After seeing Campbell's antics yesterday, I am not so disappointed to lose him. I know he is a great talent, but he has some growing up to do. If you want to look at an example of a young man with his shite together, look at how Nixon announced.
Julio is the most impressive freshmen receiver I can remember. I hope that Randle can approach his impact. It won't be easy.

Any ideas as to where he is heading?
This game didn't even get an article in the Chronicle after a HUGE write-up in the Football Preview issue this week. Had he played well, it would have been the #2 game behind Northshore-Katy. This kid will bounce back.
Injured his ankle, which really stopped him from pushing off. This looks like an injury that will hang around for a while if not rested. Carver got rolled!

Minter - Nice try Nick

How is that for a "thanks, but no thanks".

Sorry Bama.
That looks like an over-crowded flag football game. Hope this shite doesn't get contagious because it sucks!
I ran into one of McFarland's Lufkin football coaches yesterday at Sea World in San Antonio. He said that there is really no clear favorite at this point, but he said that we "made a great impression during his visit to BR" and that he "really loved the people and the campus." He also reiterated how great of a kid JM is, and how lucky either LSU, OU or UT will be to have him. No major news, but it was great to hear from a guy so close to the
situation.

The most impressive thing is how well he sets up and uses his blockers. Amazing at his age! :geauxtigers:
