re: What’s the longest Uber ride you have done?

Breckenridge to Denver airport. Was $248. Our rental broke down in a snowstorm and Avis couldn’t get anyone to our location for 2 days. Had to get back for a client. Noticed the storm cleared, there happened to be one active uber driver in the area, and I tipped him $75 cash as well. All expensed if course!

For the experts and folks out west on here, where would you go in continental U.S. in mid-to-late Feb if you were starting to plan a trip?
Live in Houston so accessibility is the key as we have little ones at home we won’t bring and don’t want the in-laws to have to deal with them for more than 4-5 nights.
I’ve been just about everywhere but I’m more thinking of what mountains are faring better this year. Browsing my favorites On The Snow app looks brutal.

Yes, which is why the stock has been under pressure. No one seems to acknowledge they’ve rolled out an entire lineup of AI products. They’re getting ahead of it. I think the real risk is product pricing from competition. The value play here is that they can find a way to keep market share by differentiating their superior products. Latest annual earnings release was very solid.

Fair points as a user. In my research I think they’re considering moving from a subscription based pricing model to an outcome based pricing model.
Might be really appealing. Then you’re paying for usage, not a license that is a static cost whether you use it or not. If this happens it will be interesting to see how, or if, the market reacts.

ADBE a buy-low candidate?

ADBE popped up on a recent stock screen I ran yesterday and I noticed it’s basically sitting near 5 year lows. Some key financial metrics look fairly good:
- PE of 17
- price/book of 10.5
- ROE at 55%
- Op Margin - 37%
- Revenue growth leaves a little to be desired but is in line with the average for the sector and competitors
Does the MB own ADBE or feel like this is a good L/T entry point? Any thoughts are appreciated!

Sounds trashy
Eat at Buccano’s At Night. It’s the best restaurant on the island. Book a reservation 30 minutes before sunset.
Where are you staying? We’ve been going at least once per year for the past 7 years. It’s so easy from Houston to do a 4-5 night getaway. 1 hour and 50 minute flight, customs are 10 minutes, and you’re at your hotel in 15 minutes.
I’ve been staying at the Westin and using Marriott points. But it doesn’t have as great of a sandy white beach as some of the resorts on the south end (ex. occidental, allegro, dreams, etc.)
Other restaurants we don’t miss are La Cocay, Guido’s, Pancho’s Backyard, and Kondessa. Hemingway’s is an awesome atmosphere especially at sunset and after dark.

Palm Springs CA Rec’s

Any must do activities, places, restaurants, etc. in Palm Springs? We’ll be there the second week of December for 5 nights. Two couples and 4 kids between ages of 2-5 years old.
The best thing about LH business class is access to their lounges. The food was amazing, and free top shelf bar that has no bartender. You walk up and make your own drinks. First time I experienced it I was blown away. Had a blast in there for several hours.
Check the aircraft on your specific flight. If it’s the Boeing 747 you’ll most likely be in a 2-2-2 configuration. It’s easily the worst business class set up on all the airlines I’ve flown on.
That being said, it wasn’t “that bad”. But if I was using my own money (the three times I flew them it was work trip) I would have been disappointed.
Drinks and food options were solid. Service was great.

I drafted Burrow and JD5 in my two leagues. My QB’s are now Purdy and… Rodgers LOL. It’s been rough
Brown will be needed today. I think he sees a good bit of touches and opportunities. If it’s PPR, I’d go with Brown.
BTJ likely out today. What a sack of shite that guy has been this year.
Looks like the issue is sustained winds impacting longer passes and FG’s. Shouldn’t have any snow.
I recommend avoiding Jamaica.

Your choices are United or Southwest. So… it’s United.
I would never, never ever, consider American unless I lived in the DFW area and that was my best option for daily flights around the world.
American is the worst U.S. based airlines sans Spirit and Frontier.

Let’s ignore the Puka fact. I have an open roster spot regardless at minimum for the next 2 weeks.
RB stash - help me pick one
Posted by skewbs on 10/19/25 at 8:06 am
Throwing Puka in my IR slot so I’ll have room to grab a high upside RB stash on my bench. Who do y’all like out of this bunch?
- Tyler Allgeier
- Kendre Miller
- Tyjae Spears
- Jayden Blue
- Ollie Gordon
Tough choice… all could be top 20 plays if the starter in front of them goes down.

That’s the right play.

Only drink bottled water, and honestly, I'd avoid anything not cooked especially for the first few days (that includes raw vegetables and fruit). Don't eat any fruits / veg with a peel either (ex. apple, peach, raw cucumber). Fruits like oranges and bananas should be okay.
If you're staying more than a few days, just give your body time to adjust, and you'll be fine. Ease into it
re: Which RB would you pick for this week?
Posted by skewbs on 10/9/25 at 11:21 am to St Augustine
Etienne by a mile. Kamara injured in practice yesterday, and Kendre Miller is basically splitting snaps and touches with him anyways. That will increase each week too. Eventually Kamara will be a part time player if he's even healthy.
I'll go as far as to say Kamara won't return RB3 value over the rest of the year. His days are numbered...
