The taliban when they return instituted a ban which was more effective (because they kill people for possession) Then it exploded yet again. There is an answer, you folks refuse to admit it.
So you support the death penalty for possession in the United States?
frick yeah man I’m in.
But let’s also kill the traffickers.

Do you need to see evidence justifying every military operation we conduct or just the ones from Trump and Hegseth?

Yes, in Afghanistan. It failed too.
The amount of attacks and focus on the opium trade in Afghanistan by the US military was minimal. There were some attacks here and there but normally there because the traffickers were also tied to terrorist groups.
Afghan opium has never really made its way to the US anyways. We get our drugs from Latin America.

The Caribbean boats are taking it to Trinidad. So, you're blowing up civilians of another country 1,500 or whatever miles away on the assumption those drugs will make their way to the U.S. -- which, may not even be correct in the first place if they get shipped to Europe.
This is all pretty irrelevant. We can kill terrorists if we think they’re headed to Europe to conduct an attack. We can kill pirates in international waters even if the boats they are attacking aren’t US flagged. This isn’t any different.

The constitution does NOT apply to NON CITIZENS. They are not citizens of the USA and therefore are not protected by nor have any rights guaranteed (NOT granted) to American Citizens. Period.
This part is incorrect. The constitution most certainly applies to non-citizens. But those protections end at the border. I dont think it even applies to US citizens outside of the US. If I go to Afghanistan and join the Taliban the USG is under no obligation to give me due process on the battlefield. That’s why we sent all the terrorists to Gitmo instead of prisons here in the US. Once they’re on US soil they’re afforded all of the protections of the Constitution.

It is certainly possible, that there are no drugs in this instance, and it is possible they are trafficking cocaine
The likelihood of the targeted boats not having drugs are them are close to zero.

Should all cocaine dealers in America be put to death?
In the United States, of course not. In international waters they’re fair game. No different than pirates

It’s clear this has nothing to do with drugs
But we’re targeting drug boats. We can make up all the theories we want as to why we’re sinking drug boats but the fact of the matter is that drug traffickers died. That’s a good thing.

Then why are they our focus, and not the problematic nations?
Probably because of trade issues. I’d assume we don’t trade much with Venezuela in the first place so it won’t hurt us much economically. Perhaps it’s a show of force to the rest of Latin America to see what will happen if they don’t crackdown on the drug trade. Maybe it’s because of Venezuela’s oil. Maybe because they’re aligned closely with China and Russia and we don’t want that on our doorstop. Probably a combination of all of the above.

This wouldn’t have to happen if we hadn’t let in so many illegals in the first place.

It transpires that Venezuela is not a major supplier of drugs to the U.S., despite all the hoopla from Trump. As Finian Cunningham reports, “Venezuela’s role in narcotics trafficking to the United States is not significant compared with other Latin American countries, according to the UN’s Office on Drugs and Crime. Colombia and Peru are more important as cocaine sources. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has denoted Mexico as the biggest source of illicit fentanyl, which is responsible for most American overdose deaths.
This is why I’ve been saying we need to expand the war. Venezuelan drugs are a drop in the bucket.
