the sophomores (who have no restrictions anymore on them) are a record size class, or so i've been told, needless to say IF there were any tickets left it would have been a lottery system used ... but like previously said, other than the UF game you shouldn't have a hard time finding tickets decently priced
They're e-mailing freshmen and transfer students in late August about putting themselves into a lottery for remaining tickets.

I actually had a disappointing meal yesterday at Riverside. The Oyster Dinner was a bad choice. Should've stuck with the usual awesome Riverside/Extravaganza or one of their kickass crab dishes. The seafood stuffed mushrooms were totally kickass though, and the fried oysters were actually quite good.

Same shite happens every game, the outcome's just up to whether or not Tim Howard plays really well or out of his mind. We never come close to equalizing possession come the 2nd half.

I learned a long time ago not to look at older movies like a movie, but more like a play on a stage. Because for the most part, that is what they looked like up until the 60's or so. They are all filmed the same way, the actors over act like in theater, just like watching a play.

115. RB Charles Scott, Sr., LSU
Scott broke free from the running-back-by-committee backfield to rush for 1,174 yards and 18 touchdowns averaging 5.4 yards per carry. The 5-11, 233-pound senior is extremely quick with a great burst and excellent power. He ran for 95 yards or more in eight of the first ten games, and then everyone loaded up on him and the production tailed off. Even so, he's plugger who's always falling forward and is unstoppable around the goal line. He can also catch a bit with eight grabs for 67 yards, and he's not a bad blocker.
116. RB Darrell Scott, Soph. Colorado
The hype for Scott off the charts. Considered by many to be the nation's top running back recruit last year, he came in and was expected to carry the offense from day one. He was fine, rushing for 343 yards and a touchdown as the team's second leading rusher, but he was hardly special after suffering a slew of minor injures. Last year he wasn't in fighting shape; now he looks the part. A bit tentative at times while rarely showing off the explosiveness of his 4.3 speed last season, this offseason he appears ready to blossom into superstardom. The 6-1, 200-pound sophomore ran for 3,194 yards and 45 touchdowns in his final year in high school and was almost going to go to Texas, but Colorado was able to pry him away and now he should be the focal point of the attack for the next three years.
What the frick is this shite?

Though I've been there a lot (mostly for trivia) I'm not a huge fan of their food. Their fried pickles are pretty good but I honestly prefer the fried pickles at Hooters and Walk-Ons.

If I said that it's a bad idea for Al Woods to return kicks this season, would I be considered an ungrateful frick?

With all the great RBs from Louisiana, why can't we produce great LBs?
I posted this in another thread:
Louisiana routinely produces highly rated RBs:
Keiland Williams 5*
Justin Vincent 5*
Michael Ford 4* #59 OVR, Scout 5*
Charles Scott 4* #50 OVR
WRs:
Rueben Randle 5*
Early Doucet 5*
Chris Tolliver 4* #70 OVR
Trovon Reed 4* #40 OVR
Jared Mitchell 4* #97 OVR
DL:
Al Woods 5*
Chris Davenport 5*
Glenn Dorsey 4* #47 OVR, Scout 5*
Marlon Favorite 4* #72 OVR
Carnell Stewart 4* #66 OVR
Kyle Williams 4* #99 OVR
Rahim Alem 4* #61 OVR
Drake Nevis 4* #93 OVR
DB:
Jai Eugene Scout 5*
Janzen Jackson 5*
Chad Jones 5*
Laron Landry 4* #87 OVR
Stefoin Francois 4* #63 OVR
Hell, we've even produced a 5* QB recently in Ryan Perrilloux. Ryan Miller was the #71 OVR prospect in 2004, with Chris Faulk #47 OVR just last year.
Not once in Rivals's archives has Louisiana produced a Top 100 LB.

winning 3 majors in the past 2 years? Just the fact that he's been to 21 straight grand slam semis when the next closest in Lendl with 10 is a mind frick with the depth of competition now and the variance in surfaces being so great
And Nadal has really only become a true threat in the past 2 years. Before that he was worthless on hard courts.
I think that Federer is probably the greatest tennis player of all time considering his career grand slam and total number of titles, but when you compare him to Michael Phelps in terms of sheer dominance over the rest of the field, I don't think he can touch him. Especially considering that Nadal has emerged as such a strong rival in the past few years.

Sheppard definitely can be a MLB. Dude is up to 240 lbs or so, and is slower than many of Chavis' OLBs.
Too bad he can't shed a block to save his life.

I'd rather have Cutrera in the middle than Sheppard.
