I feel your pain. Kind of.
Clearly your situation is much worse, but I still dream of what would have been had Coach Saban not forsaken us 21 years ago this Christmas.
I know right now you hate Lane Kiffin, Head Football Coach of the LSU Fighting Tigers, but even if you’re forever a little bitter about it, remember what he did for your football program. You’re no longer irrelevant, and that’s where the joy is.
I know this is your most magical season ever and that you’ll blame him for your CFP exit, but your defense is simply not good enough to win a championship in this field.
If you do win one anytime soon, it will have been thanks to him, just as ours are thanks to Saban.
I will be genuinely sorry for your loss until midnight this Wednesday. Good luck for the rest of this year only, then go to hell.
