I still put more blame on the field conditions than Penn State.

I remember seeing Holliday shin deep in mud and knowing there was no way in hell we were going to use our speed. If I remember correctly, they had hosted 3 games in less than 2 weeks and there was heavy rain.

Sorry, South Carolina, not Southern Cal.

LSU vs. USCe in September

Posted by yessir on 1/17/24 at 6:41 pm
I'm thinking of going to this game next season. Are there any recommendations on where to stay and what to do? I'm guessing it'll be slightly cooler than BR in mid September (so still hot as balls), so maybe we should attempt a beach? Maybe hiking?

Also, as a side note, I'm surprised there isn't a football/baseball away game travel thread already.

Nobody wants a boring win, right??
Understandable that he was heated, but still can't shove the ref out of the way with no consequence.

after that (BS) penalty

That penalty was legit and he's lucky he wasn't forced to leave the game. They didn't show it on the replay, but after the play was over, he was talking shite back and forth with an offensive lineman. When a ref tried to separate them, he forcefully (like almost a smack) pushed the ref out of the way. That's what the flag was thrown for.

There were people definitely ripping lines out there, like people do for every home game at LSU.

I ripped arse a couple of times. Does that count?

It was a positive experience and fun environment. Tell them old fuddy duddy friends to stay home if they don't like black people.
I've seen several people mention that you can watch it on the Astros' YouTube channel.

That's exactly what my view looked like on top of Oyster Dome

I like it. Minimalist and clean. I understand our uniforms are really good and traditional, but it is nice to change it up from time to time (like 1 to 2 games per year max). I'm pretty sure most of the players agree. Obviously, it would have to be the correct font, not the horny number thing that the vikings do. I think it would look really good with the gold pants.

Is that the white version of these guys?

At this point, Middle-Aged II Retired would probably fit that group better.

Dan Mullen heading to the Nick Saban School for Head Coaches Who Can't Coach Good and Want to do Other Stuff Good?
I'm not down voting for no. I'm down voting because this is the 4th time I've seen this poll in 2 hours.

I have. Not much there.

Especially compared to the tropical oasis that is Baton Rouge??

Jesus Christ, dude. Take a break.

Quirky is the last word I would use to describe Aranda. The guy is laser focused on the sideline and pretty emotionless.

Those seem like they could be considered quirks

Thank you. We reviewed a little on Alltrails the other day and narrowed down our two areas to Mt. Baker and Olympic (might have to update that if everything around Mt. Baker could have snow). Got some research to do with everyone's recommendations.

Appreciate that. Sucks a little, but I'm sure there's still plenty to see and do. Last time we went was in August, so we didn't give any thought to that much snow still being on the ground.
