The original is a perfect movie and the greatest horror movie ever made in the history of cinema. So much so that it was a favorite of Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg, and Ridley Scott who upon taking the Alien job watched the movie and said “I want to make that movie in outer space” and changed the direction to accentuate the horror moreso than the Sci/fi.


As far as the sequels TCM2 is a favorite, and Next Generation is a guilty pleasure because it’s such a WTF movie. McConaughey is going all out with the crazy and carries that movie.
