At the position they got him it was worth the gamble. He's still just a rookie too. He could still maybe be something.

James Franklin or Drink
I'm with you here. I'm definitely a no on Drink, and talk about not a fit here.
We've gotta have some coaches to finish the year. I seriously doubt he's retained after the year.

It's not meaningless. Beating Florida is always important.
Landry is an oblivious jackass. He's the guy who thought bringing a random tiger on the field was a great idea.

Why would he leave Oregon? He can dominate in the Big 10 every year and the job is way more stable than LSU right now.
They aren't bad but would be pretty underwhelming hires. I feel like there are better candidates that are attainable.
It's not good when the governor is getting involved very publicly. This is a complete clown show right now. I'm fine with Woodward being gone, but definitely not fine with this shite show.

I don't think people like this governor getting involved like this.
He is the guy who thought bringing a random tiger on the field was a good idea. Guy is a wannabe Trump.
It's been a refusal to run the ball. We were running the ball great vs A&M.
In the last coaching search it was Mel Tucker where no fans wanted him.

I don't know why James Franklin's name is getting mentioned some for the job, but fans would riot if he's hired.
I gotta go Kelly here. This season has been so maddening with the absolutely awful coaching where it looks like we don't belong on the same field as some teams.

Getting a Florida or LSU going is way more stable than Ole Miss. Ole Miss can be a 10 win team or a 4 win team.

Who do u think is better and why

No coach is a sure thing. Look at coaches like Tom Herman and Lincoln Riley. They were the hotshot for sure things. Instead they've both failed. With Kiffin he has games that are just randomly awful. Look at the Arkansas, Washington State, and Kentucky games this year. Look at the Florida and Kentucky games last year. Hell against OU he ran that stupid 4th down play when he was up and let Ou back in the game. To get him you're going to have to make an incredibly favorable contract for him to get him, and you can't afford to fire him if he fails while you're also paying Kelly. I feel like it's better for LSU to hire a guy like Sumrall at a reasonable price and have the funds to recruit and get transfer portal guys.

Is Kiffin worth 10-13 million a year

The guy has had 3 elite jobs with the raiders, Tennessee, and USC and failed. Yes he has shown he can win some at Ole Miss, but I'm not sold on selling your soul for a guy who is far from a surefire thing. LSU can't afford to have another gigantic miss on a coach with a gigantic contract.
Out of these 2 I'd prefer Sumrall. Drink doesn't fit here at all.
