Thirty years of Clinton and Obama influence (let's be honest, Gee Dub did nothing to slow it down) damned near destroyed our military's upper ranks.
Agree. Also add in Bush 1&2 sending us off to 20
years of wars that had nothing to do with anything but feeding their buddies in the MIC and doing Israel and Saudi Arabia’s bidding.
Over 35 years of rot. We need to bring our folks home and protect the homeland first and foremost.
quote:
He wrote words that they would agree with
I “agree” with you on this…which is why Jesus Christ is not shown reverence as Lord and God and never mentioned but just some nebulous “Supreme Judge” and “Creator” and “Nature’s God”.
All words a Hindu, a Jew, a Deist, a pagan or any other belief system could get behind at that time.
quote:
And you still have not answered my simple question who were they referring to as the supreme judge of the world
Are you messing with me or are you missing brain cells?
I told you more than once, Jefferson was referring to a Deist god as the Supreme Judge. PERIOD.
Deists’ believe god is a supreme, intelligent creator of the universe who does not intervene in its affairs or human lives after its creation. Kind of create it and let it spin.
Do you believe pagans worship Christ as God when they’re saying they believe in a supreme judge? Could be Zeus, could be Apollo, could be Shiva, etc.to a pagan.
quote:
The Declaration of Independence it's kind of a big deal they mentioned God/ Christ in the document several times
There is absolutely NOT ONE mention of Jesus Christ in the DOI, the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution or in ANY other founding federal document.
You’re ignorant and a deist’s “God” holds the same position as Allah to a Muslim or Zeus to a pagan…none of them acknowledge Jesus Christ as God.
Do you ascribe to the term Judeo-Christian as well? Another made up term that has less validity than Christian-Muslim (at least the Koran acknowledges Jesus and Mary as holy while the Jewish Talmud teaches Christ was the bastard son of a whore).
There is a reason Christ and the Apostles taught we are saved through Jesus Christ and His name is Holy…the founders were smart men…they knew they were denying Christ as God by not writing out His name.
quote:
because remember you disputed whether they even referred to Christ/God in the Declaration now you are debating whether they were deists or methodists
Are you drinking? I said no such thing. Go to bed dude.
You get called out for making something up about Jesus Christ and call me “smart guy” for correcting you?
Cool.
If you had an iota of a clue what Jefferson believed about Jesus iChrist you would not have posted your falsehood.
Jefferson believed in a Supreme Being - he was a deist. Period.
I believe Jesus Christ is God and will be the Judge on the Day of Judgement…but that doesn’t mean I can change historical facts to suit my belief system.
Cool.

What’s your point?
Neither Jefferson, nor John Adams, nor Ben Franklin - who all participated in writing the DOI - believed in the divinity of Jesus Christ.
They were deists. They definitely did not believe in Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God the Father as stated in the Nicene Creed.

But there was a specific mention of Jesus Christ as the quote: Supreme Judge of The world in the Declaration of Independence
This is 100% false. Nowhere’s in the DOI is Jesus Christ mentioned.
The principal author, Thomas Jefferson, did not believe in Jesus Christ as God nor Lord or in any way divine and definitely was not referencing Christ as the Supreme Judge of the World.
Do a little research.

Same thing I said about a community organizer named Barak Hussein Obama.
With AIPAC behind ol’ Paul, he could be Master and Commander.

First thing that comes to mind is; does Kentucky have a good Samaritans law, (law stating you can not be charged if it can be proven that you are acting in the best interest of the person in need) , second, would trained EMS personnel be covered under said law if it exists? Lastly, anyone who charges these medics should be fired immediately.
EMTs and Paramedics operate under authority of a Medical Doctor while ON DUTY.
Most states and federal law covers them under Good Samaritan if OFF DUTY, however, this is about licensing for actions on duty not civil / criminal liability.
Common sense versus bureaucrats shall never in the middle meet.

I agree; better prices given at pawn shops vs BassPro/Cabelas; sometime local gun shop will beat pawn shop but it’s rare.
I have too many guns; yes that is a real thing and rather than deal with a hoodlum off the internet or gunbroker, I’d rather sell to pawn shops.
