Bad home state turkey hunting results this spring so looking for an out-of-state trip in 2027 - does anyone care to share an outfitter in TX they have experience hunting with? Looking at taking a small group in 2027, thanks for any help you can provide. :cheers:

Any rifle suppressed will be much more pleasant for a child to use - from both a recoil and noise standpoint. I just purchased a new can for the Bushmaster I mentioned previously, expecting the email anytime now.

I’ve owned several through the years and just bought a Gen 2 in 450 Bushmaster. They’ve all been great shooters of factory ammo for cheap factory rifles (sub half inch groups). You can order an aftermarket trigger spring for $12.95 if it bothers you. The Gen 2’s are much nicer from a fit and finish perspective than the Gen 1’s. Buy what you want, some of these guys around here are great at telling you what you should buy with your money. What I’m going to tell you is I’ve been pleased with the ones I’ve owned (relative to the price paid).

I have a $300-$400 Holosun on mine. I’ll look when I get home tonight and respond in here. The Extar is a neat little gun for the price. I’ve had zero problems with mine.
