re: Nil has killed Cinderella

I get that. You don’t want terrible matchups in the sweet 16 and elite 8. The cream always rises to the top in this tourney in the end that is true. But I like it better when a few mid majors win and even compete in the 1st and 2nd round. This has been the most boring ncaa tourney of all time so far
Nil has killed Cinderella

I stated this Saturday in the tournament thread and I mean it even more this morning. The inability of mid majors to retain their players will almost be the death of upsets in general. This is one of the chalkiest tournaments in recent memory with everything being somewhat bland and predictable. The rich have gotten richer and widened the gap even further. This tournament might not ever be the same and that’s a shame.

Maybe I’m wrong here. But has NIL ruined upsets? I know Mcneese won but seems like the blue bloods widened the gap even further.
No college basketball team …….

Should be good enough defensively to hold another D1 men’s team to 20 second half points. My god we are dog water. Scheme sucks, players suck and woody should be ashamed watching that abomination. Hope he enjoys the buffet tonight . Our seniors didn’t even deserve to be honored, let’s just boycott the SEC tournament
If I’m Woody at this point

For MBB I’m giving strong consideration to Scott Nagy at southern Illinois. Took South Dakota state to the tournament multiple times as well as making the tourney at Wright state. He’s a winner that knows how to develop guards at an elite level. Also couldn’t help but share he’s been known to coach “barefooted” on multiple occasions, this in effort to raise awareness to kids in third world countries that go without shoes. Really think he’d relate well to the lower demographic areas in BR.

Keith Richard is a winner
There’s only one savior for MBB at this point

His name is Bill Armstrong & he has 5 kids. Let’s bring him back and pack the PMAC. I’m in Mcrecovery and am willing to pull up a chair and listen.
Bad coaching

Just gave up a layup because we didn’t have enough situational awareness to realize it was a 1 & 1…. We have a mid major roster and are so poorly coached. And yet MCbasement gets a vote of confidence from fat scott. I’m done with this .

With Reed we’d have been on the bubble if we were coached right AND if everything else kinda went our way. Getting the dudes in CBB is 90% of the battle and MCbasement just doesn’t know how to get them

I mean, yeah you got me. I don’t have any more legs to stand on. I admire that they play hard and don’t quit, but we’re not playing for moral victories.
Our last 3 halves of basketball

We’ve scored 28,23,36. You can’t beat good teams like that. This team just doesn’t have the coaching or the dudes to compete night in and night out against the real SEC. Yeah I know I know we beat South Carolina and had a fluke win at OU. I’ll admit I was wrong about MM and am ready to join the mcrecovery. I’ll pull up a chair and sit
Upsets happen

All throughout college hoops. Bad teams frick around in the dog days and upset somebody they have no business beating. I’m not saying McMahon has to win tn but you at least gotta get up and have a decent showing. I’ll be happy if we cover 10.5

We caught them sleepwalking in the 1st half. Then with a 6 point lead at halftime we did nothing. 28 points in 20 minutes. We suck

You can’t score 28 points at home in the second half in a game like that against a team like Florida. Caught them sleeping in the 1st half and we just weren’t good enough to put any real pressure on them. It’s CBB, even bad teams frick around and win home games they have no business in throughout the course of a long season. We can’t even do that
I see the light

Okay. I’ve been a Mcsupporter but Jesus. 28 points at home in the second half , in crunch time when the game was still in limbo you have a 4 minute drought. Not only do we not have good enough players, we’re soft, can’t shoot and turn the ball over way too much. I’m out on Mcbasement

Hard to outscore people going green in the diet.

We could even get creative with NIL deals with companies like quest.

8 runs in 2 games against Omaha is a problem. Micheal Johnson and this kitchen staff have to do better moving forward in making sure the players are getting proper nutrients for peak performance. Too much plant based and not enough protein.
Against a team of Omaha’s caliber is concerning. I’m concerned about this new hip “vegan based diet” Micheal Johnson and the kitchen staff has the players on. Just worried as the season goes on these boys won’t be getting enough proper nutrients.
