I like it. First of all, the chant comes secondary to our own respective unique school cheers during bowl games. So, it's not like we're putting the conference first. Secondly, as you said, it really seems to get under the skin of the opposing fans, which I find humorous. Thirdly, I like it because ...

As depressing as it is to sit at home during the bowls, I've managed to make myself root for our SEC brethren for the past week. Great job last night against the Aggies. I love how the SEC has been whipping up on the Big 12 for the past few years in their own backyard in the Cotton Bowl.

Actually, it wasn't up to the RevelVision folks. They wanted to broadcast the games but, apparently, UVA's stadium (which is pretty new) doesn't have the technical infrastructure needed. Kind of sad.
And, while we're on the subject, let's give ESPN a big hand for choosing to broadcast the Coral G...

Because Michael Lewis happened to use Oher's story (as it was unfolding) when writing a book about the evolution of the left tackle. I believe Lewis and Sean Touhy attended high school together (Newman if I'm not mistaken).
