Isn't Hunter's wife also a lawyer??? If so, I wonder if she has sued LC while Hunter has been Mayor???
Think she just does family law.

Got a call from McDermott (Construction company that bought CB&I) about a job there.
6/10s with per diem. Supposedly 8000 contractors are out there.
How's the project out there?
What contractors are out there doing mechanical work?

Louisiana Scaffold Builder wins $411 million Verdict. Largest in Louisiana History.

Tonight we just won the largest single-plaintiff injury verdict in Louisiana history for Jose Valdivia against Brock Services - one of the largest industrial scaffold companies in the world.
We had one of the best teams in this trial. Alec Paradowski, Jonathan Mack, Lori Bailey, and Carla Galvan with me from A&I. Tony Clayton, Michael Fruge, and Brilliant Clayton with Clayton Fruge. And of course Cody Hall and Isaac Bruce with WPT. One of the most fun times I’ve had trying a case.
This is sad case. Jose had a 20 lb scaffold bar dropped on his head when he was 25 years old by a co-worker whose nickname was “crazy Mike” and “walking hazard Mike.” Jose was taken immediately to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a serious spinal cord injury and brain injury. Jose can barely talk and his sister takes care of him. Jose was paying for her to go to college while he was making $40K/year working for Brock. She had to stop school to take care of Jose full time.
Instead of investigating the incident. Brock covered it up. And Brock’s main witness (Josh Miller) posted bragging about having zero recordable injuries while Jose was paralyzed and this case was in litigation.
Even through the trial Brock refused to acknowledge it was responsible. Refused to report the incident. And Brock’s defense was Jose is a liar and faker. It was shocking.
Jury deliberated for about two hours and returned a verdict for $411,687,387.36.
