Crazy when comparing 2026 to 2027. The amount of in state players recruited and committed to LSU is wild.
That is what I did last December. Bought a LiftX with some accessories for cheap. Found on AT. Guy had just got the bow in, got laid off, and needed money for Christmas.
My son shot his first deer this past weekend. Doe with 2 fawns that have lost their spots. I would have passed on it but it was his first so I let him shoot. But those fawns are still coming back every morning and evening and eating in the food plot. We have a plethora of does so I'm not too concerned.

Just get the new Camp Chef Woodwind Pro. Pellet smoker with the added wood box.
Seems the biggest change is the limb curvature. It’s less than the Lifts. Slightly smoother draw cycle. Not that big of a difference.

Prime made the biggest leap last year. Their new bow looks just the same.

The PSE Sicario is an interesting bow. Looks like the Mach. Thing is legit shooting 325-335 FPS.

I don’t mind paying for the MS license. My lease is only 2 hours and 15 minutes away. I could hunt in Louisiana and pay more for the lease and drive an extra 2 hours.

Just wish we had power/water.

Summit, MS
Ground blind on a food plot
Got my 10yr old with me.
300 blackout
Hornady 110gr V-Max

He shot his first deer this morning at 6:20. Ran about 20-30 yards. I’ll update with some pictures.

I'd take Dillingham or Golesh in a heartbeat. Save the money on Kiffin and see if one of these young dudes can succeed in Baton Rouge.

I use Outdoor Edge. Have 3 different ones. All work great.

At some point I'll probably get a Havalon to try them out. People swear by them.
Out of these, I would put money on Drink. And I wouldn't mind it one bit. What he has done at Missouri is impressive.

How you like the Novix? Looking at the Helo.

Do you want smart functions? If so, I'd go with a Garmin Vivoactive at $250.

I lost my last Garmin in the woods. Was a pain having to take my phone out of my pocket to see who texts each time. Quickly went back to a smart watch.
Even though the Dodgers won that long game, they may have lost having to play 18 innings. Blue Jays have dominated the Dodgers pitching since, especially the bullpen.
Smoke a chuck roast, chop it up and add to your chili along with some jimmy dean hot sausage. Dark chocolate and a good stout beer too.
If its true that he wanted O'Sullivan as the baseball coach and that got nixed by the board, then I'm fine with the board, along with others making the call on the football coach.

This is who I hope they call. He's making just over 1 million a year. He may rather college football than the NFL. Could get a nice raise and put him on an incentive based contract.

He's proven he can coach, he is a hell of a defensive coordinator and he is only 42 years old!

I'm excited just reading all these posts. I wish I had friends that enjoyed deer hunting like I do to make some out of state trips. Trying to convince my buddy who goes elk hunting every year during rifle to do a bow trip next year for both elk and whitetail.
This is why I hope they at least call Minter! He had top 5-10 defenses at Michigan and beat Ohio State. He's young and energetic.
I would take his OC in a heartbeat!
