The new coach is also able to sell new recruits on helping get them to the NPF. (Mack taken 1st in draft to USSSA Pride)
Torina currently serves as an assistant coach under Florida head coach Tim Walton for the USSSA Pride of the National Pro Fastpitch League.

306/267/195 (day 65 39lbs lost)
Whats up guys haven't posted in while work and tournament ball with my daughter has been keeping me pretty busy. Dieting is getting harder for me on the weekends with traveling and sitting at the ball fields all weekend. I've been packing a lot of beef or turkey jerkey and cheese to snack on. So far I've been able to stay away from those great tasting nachos loaded down with peppers!
Signed up for my first 5K which is at the end of May. Never thought I would hear myself say that.
I've got to get myself motivated again to get back into the gym lifting weights kind of fell off the wagon the last two weeks.
CHEERS TO EVERYONE ON THEIR CONTINUED SUCSESS OF CHANGING THEIR LIFESTYLE!!!

Just got back home yesterday from Baton Rouge. I figured I'd gained about 5 pounds from eating so much seafood. I stayed away from the fired foods and tried to at least run 1 mile each day while I was home. I was surprised that I actually lost 3 pounds. Back to the grind today.

Ran my first 5K Sunday my time was 43 minutes. I was happy till my wife gives me her time (28 minutes) I told her she better enjoy it now because by the end of summer I'm going to smoke her!! :rotflmao:
Leaving Detroit Thursday to head back to BR for 10 days. Please pray for me that I dont give in to all the wonderful foods I've been missing.
I went and joined Snap fitness here in Detroit that way I can continue my Cardio and weight lifting while I'm down.
Have to stay focused!!!! :dude:

40 days in to my new life style change I have reached my first milestone of losing 30lbs. I'm feeling great and my motivation is at an all time high.
My wife said this morning "Well it looks like losing the weight is paying off" I said why do you say that? Her response back to me was “well it didn't look like someone was strangling you when you were tying your shoes! “ :rotflmao:

Haven't posted in a couple days been stuck in training.
Last couple of days been good. Wearing jeans I haven't worn in 2 years.
The only thing that is bothering me is that I feel constipated in the evenings. Anyone else get this feeling?

306/281/195 (31 days into my life style change)
Last couple of days have been good. Lost 2 more pounds and really getting in the grove of exercising at least 4 times a week, carbs under 40 and cals around 1500 per day. Going to start P90 this weekend.
I'm going to have to lose about 10 pounds between now and easter weekend.:rotflmao: I know once I come home to BR for that week I will be filling my body full of seafood..
I can taste boiled crawfish and shrimp now!!!

Dropped another 2 pounds this week, but the carb cravings at night are testing my will power!!
Staying on a diet up here in Detroit I'm finding it's been pretty easy (food isn't that good). Looking forward to coming home to BR Easter weekend for 10 days but know it will test me to stay away from all the good fried and boiled seafood.

My wife runs a lot and she is a big believer in fish oil pills. She says that ever since she started taking them the pain in her knees have went away.
She says that it lubs the joints.

Finally broke through the plateau this morning with a 3lb weight loss. :nana:
Also finished my 1st day of Week 2 couch to 5K.
Wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, actually speed walked for a extra 10 minutes after I finished my C to 5K routine.
Feeling good this morning..
Thanks everyone for the advice on pushing pass the plateau.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to cut my carb intake down to stay around 40 a day.
Has anyone tried P90 work out? I hear it's really good for beginners.

Ok, after reading a lot of post on this thread I've gotten motivation to get my fat arse in shape!!
Starting weight 306lbs my first goal is 250lbs final goal is 195lbs.
I'm 3 weeks in and down to 288.
No diet plan just trying to change my eating habits. My food intake goals each day is to stay under 2000 cals, 100 carbs and 1500mg of salt.
Also started couch to 5K this week.
I'm feeling better and find myself with more energy. Let’s hope I can keep it up, got a long road ahead of me.
Thanks to all who have posted on this thread for giving me the motivation to do this!!
