He wouldn’t fly to Knoxville for a center
That’s what Shea and Matt believe
Just a thought, that if you have to get at least 2-3 QBs in the portal, wouldn’t it be easier to convince other QBs to come if they think they’ll have a chance to compete for the starting job? Especially if the expected QB1 couldn’t practice in the Spring.

Lots of Optimism

This is our first chance to actually judge Kiffin on his job as LSU HC but I’m confident in his ability to get players from the portal and keep the new assistants just as focused on LSUs recruiting as they are on their semifinal playoff game.

So you want to take the guy we watched throw 5 INTs?

Underwood does remind me a lot of Trevor Lawrence when I watched him play Oklahoma

I watched his highlight tape. The guy can ball at Cincy at least

I think I’d rather have someone that has proven success.

2026 QB1

1. Trinidad
2. Sorsby
3. Hoover

Of course no one actually knows the direction Lane will go in the portal but that’s who I would go for in that order.
Trust me I know, but the pitch to come to a school to play QB that has the best baseball program in America is a pretty good sell
Just something cool to think about. Didn’t realize the kid graduated high school at 16 either
I mean he trusted him enough to be the week 1 starter for him this season
After hearing Simmons’ Dad on the podcast and looking at his baseball and football highlights, how cool would it be to see this guy on between the hashes and in the diamond in Purple and Gold
ESPN watching McAfee is like a dad having a daughter that’s a swimsuit model. They hate it but it makes everyone rich??
Like I’m a Tiger fan through and through but watching Gunner Stockton get his bell rang over and over at Georgia and hop right back up vs. seeing Nuss get bumped into and lay on the ground bothers me.
He limps off the field almost every other possession and then goes back out like nothing is wrong. If he is hurt, he’s only hurting his team by going right back out there. If he isn’t hurt, by showing fake toughness only makes the rest of your team have less faith in you.

Thoughts on Nuss’s “Injury”

Let’s call a spade a spade. They called it a torso injury to start with and not a rib or oblique injury which is super broad. I think we hyped up a QB that was both mentally and physically weak. If I have to watch him get “touched up” and lay on the ground like he’s dying one more time…

Or maybe Kirk knows something we don’t
