What's everyone's favorite cast? I absolutely shredded with Athena cast plus upgrades. Ended up getting the legendary ability with immediate recall of stones. It was over ...

I don't have any idea how to be good. I played the shite out of it on the Sega channel back in the day. Load up on cannons, broadside and board everyone, yahr I surrender. Occasionally I would follow a treasure map. Lots of fun...

I'm still struggling with it. Its taken me a while to figure out what boons are worth getting in the first place and using poms on. I was cruising this morning with the bow with 3 death defiances until I ran into elite splitters with no means of deflection. That ate up a life. Then I lost one to the...
tour with multiple stops. I pulled up the info and we're doing Rabbit Hole, Buffalo Trace, and Bulleit.
That's a good way to do it. I don't know about rabbit hole, but BT will definitely have either ER, WSR, Blanton's, or EHT small batch unless you get there after 1 or 2pm. Bulleit w...

Fpd was an early 90s old Taylor
Pretty tasty for only being 80 proof
Spd was eht BP batch 12. This is the second time I've tried this bottle and both times I was blown away by how a 131 proofer drinks like 110. Crazy contrast to the much rougher stagg jrs I've tried.
For those of y'all that...

So a single guided tour of rabbit hole, or a guided tour with multiple stops via a bus? Do you have transportation to check out anything in bardstown, makers mark, buffalo trace etc? Do you have any interest in trying to get an allocated bottle? No judgement either way, just want to know so we can m...
Their regional cuisine sucks fwiw
Don't disagree. Soup beans, banana croquet, burgoo and a hot brown don't hold a candle to gumbo, courtbullion, etc but they're worth a try. I would eat red or white beans and rice every time over soup beans and cornbread, but I'm biased. ...

TA lmk when picks become available. I'm a sucker for a good barrel pick. I've done a bulleit pick (decent experience, decent pick) and one at WR with Chris Morris of all people (decent pick, amazing experience to have the godfather pick a blend with you). puffulufogous@gmail.com

Went last year for a weekend. Stayed at the Omni. Pretty nice. Went to bar vetti and it was fine. A little too Instagram able for my taste. Le moo had an excellent brunch. Ive heard good things about fat lamb and black rabbit. Jack Fry's is legendary but look at reservations ASAP if you intend on go...

I understand and agree with y'all about the bizarre choices made to wrap this thing up, but my biggest gripe is this was billed as cosmic horror. They leaned into it hard all season and then pulled the rug for a girl power statement. I mean how many times did we see the spiral? People got it tattooe...

re: Does anyone have a moccamaster?
Posted by puffulufogous on 1/28/24 at 4:59 pm
I do 75g to 10 "cups" for a full pot. The grind should look like coarse sand. Look up images of moccamaster grind for clarification. I do use the moccamaster filters. I don't pre moisten the filters. I do gently stir as the brewing starts to saturate the grinds evenly. I never get any bitterness. Wh...
re: Posted on H&G board..but maybe here. Induction v Gas
Posted by puffulufogous on 1/18/24 at 1:43 pm
I like my induction, but at the time I was buying I would've had to plumb gas. Induction is nice to keep clean and control heat, but if you go that route avoid any kind of touch screen to control the temp. Sometimes leaning against the controls will turn the burner off. Steamy air from the oven and ...

Where was glenn guilbeaus shite stirring arse for this press conference? Despite the media firestorm with multiple national stories around Reese being out, this goes to show that CKM handled this situation perfectly. The media doesn't have a right to know everything and CKM was not going to cave to th...

I thought the leader went to whoever finished the stage higher on the flag pole. That can be a little frustrating when the little ones get the leader, but they're going to have to learn sooner or later, and if you're it 90% of the time they will learn quickly ...

Even if they fall in a hole or get left behind they become a ghost that can be revived within 5 seconds without losing a life. The ghosts can control their movements so it keeps the kids on task of keep up with the leader. You have no idea how much more effective it is to be able to show your kid ho...

I'm enjoying the heck out of it. It's the ideal game to show a young one the ropes of side scrolling platformers. My five year old is starting to be able to keep up with me without slowing me down too much. Lives are plentiful so if they fall behind and die it's NBD. The invulnerable characters make...
