You have the right to question your political overlords about giving them the money.
After it's already sent, you have no right to question how they use it
is this in the US constitution? because I don't remember agreeing to this "contract" that's been forced down my throat?

in most situations, I'd agree. but we've given Israel (and ukraine for that matter) billions in financial and military aid over the years, and LARGE cash infusion over the past year, yet hurricane victims got next to nothing, and our economy is not doing too hot, in case you haven't noticed
so that gives the American taxpayer (i.e. me), the right to ask questions

I've seen no actual question. Just a conspiracy theory seeking to further an Anti Israeli agenda.
how is it possible that a country (i.e. Israel) has intel on the whereabouts of leaders and is able to kill them with precision missiles/strikes in other countries, but can't locate israeli hostages that border an area that they've surveilled for the past 15+ years?

any actual response to the question?
Israel can locate targets in other countries, but can't locate hostages?

not sure if anyone else has had this perplexing thought, but i've been thinking for a while now... if Israel can kill hamas/hezbollah leaders with intel and kill them with precision missiles/bombs, how are they not able to locate hostages in an area that they have complete surveillance over?
they've controlled the Gaza strip in terms of all supplies that enter/exit as well as all people that cross into Israeli territory for many years, so how are they not able to find their hostages?
is Israel using the hostages as a pre-text to expand their war efforts and grab more land?
something is very off

The loss to Oregon just doesn’t matter their road ahead is still fine
OSU will be playing in happy valley this year, although I'm not gonna predict PSU to pull the upset, since OSU always wins this game, but this is supposed to be PSU's year, with Allar being a junior and their new OC doing some good things. it'll probably be a white out, and if Franklin doesn't do anything stupid (unlikely, but we'll see), then PSU might have a chance to finally win this year

I mean what are we calling regularity?
Against the Top 10 he is 8-6 over his career.
Against all of Top 25 he is 17-7. He is 61-9 overall.
His biggest problem is the Michigan losses which are about to disappear. If he somehow losses to Michigan this year yeah move on.
in this context, i define "regularity" as once/twice every year. like i said, go back the past 4 or 5 years. no one on the 12 game schedule (including UM and PSU) has the same talent as OSU, not even in the same ballpark
including a win vs top 25 games is kinda irrelevant. i mean, should we give OSU credit for beating an occasional #22 Iowa, or a Wisconsin that's ranked #19?
when they lose, it's either to UM or someone who has an equal amount of talent as OSU. again, i don't know if they should fire Day, nor do I care, but the fact remains that OSU fans expect to beat UM every year. they think it's their birthright. and when you lose that game, and/or lose an ADDITIONAL game to an evenly matched team talent wise, people get angry

I don't see how you can get rid of him yet. They're recruiting very well and his losses are to top 10 teams.
i don't know if they should or shouldn't, but the fact is that OSU is CONSIDERABLY more talented on paper than 10-11 teams outta 12 on their schedule each year. even UM doesn't have anywhere near the HS talent that OSU pulls in every year
that's the criticism. when you only play 1-2 teams each year that are in the same ballpark as you, and you lose those with regularity over 3-4 years, then people start getting restless
UM's recruiting finishes last 6 years (according to 247)
2024 - 19
2023 - 20
2022 - 12

2023 - 14
2022 - 8

2019 - 14

2024 - 3
2023 - 4

I don't like the guy, but Ohio State is in the hunt pretty much every season. One year, he's gonna break through.
your post isn't wrong, but it's incomplete. =the fact that UM won the natty 9 months ago with only 3 guys who were 5* on the roster really chaps their a**. OSU has had WAY more talented rosters than UM (and every other big 10 team) for the past couple decades.
they had SEVERAL guys come back this year, who were projected to go relatively high in the draft, in addition to a few high level incoming transfers and the rumored $20M salary has made this year in particular a pressure cooker
they won't have a team that's as talented and deep as this. also, urban meyer himself said that this roster might be the best roster in CFB in a decade. lotta pressure on Day to perform well this season

You realize this is going to be even worse now? It might not be Alabama/Clemson (probably Georgia tbh) in particular, but whoever is dominating is going to be given even more chances than they already are. You could knock Alabama/Clemson out with two losses, or even one loss under certain conditions. All the expansion is going to do is make sure the "Alabamas" of the future will always get in and probably win it all because they have a lot of experience with the playoff format
+100
these idiots think that the tulanes/fresno st/UNLVs of the world will be able to compete with the big boys after a 12+ game schedule, in which they will no doubt suffer injuries and get beat up, but the big name programs will be MUCH better equipped to win the big games at the end due to their depth
yeah, we may get an occasional boise st type of team upsetting a OU, but those will be rare, and they won't be able to do it multiple times and make a deep run

serious question, are any of the flags blatant mistakes by the refs? i haven't heard anyone saying that "the OL did NOT commit a hold" or " the DB did NOT commit a PI"
i know too many flags suck. but are they justified or not?

All this shite we give the kids now for getting paid and bargain8ng for the most they can get, how about we talk about these coaches, agents and ADs. They're in collusion taking people's money. Usually with being paid to do nothing after being fired. The schools have to get these contracts under control. Use the option route after 3-5 years. Nothing more than that should be guaranteed. They're getting paid what half the roster is projected to be paid going forward. Makes zero sense.
you're not gonna like my thoughts on this, but it's primarily the fault of the fans. you, me, all the fans that pack stadiums and watch on TV week in and week out
these large buyouts don't exist for smaller sports like Lacrosse, tennis and golf. the reason they're so huge is that there's so much fan interest and craze behind CFB. if no one watched the sport, the money would dry up, and the demand to hire the best coaches in an attempt to get the best results
not blaming you, but it's human nature to point the finger at everyone else and deflect accountability. it starts and ends with us, the fans

it's always a DAMN good Michigan trench guy. last year it was Zak Zinter against OSU who snapped his leg in the 3rd Q

He'll get a 4th year, but if things don't improve by then, it might be time to pull the plug.
what's your definition of improvement, and more importantly, what's USC's? i mean, he was 11-3 and 8-5 in his first 2 years there. the rest of their schedule is nowhere near as difficult as the first half.
in essence, it becomes the age old conundrum of, "can we fire a guy who goes 9-3 most year, a la Bo Pellini?" USC hasn't been relevant since Carroll left, and in this new age of CFB, if they fire Riley, it may be even worse
not sure what the answer is, but I gotta believe Riley is safe for a while, unless he just COMPLETELY tanks (i.e. multiple 3-9 season), which probably won't happen

Oregon up 1 with 1:47 left in the game. Still time for OSU to get into FG range
it's a foregone conclusion that OSU will score something. just depends what (FG or TD), and how much time and timeouts Oregon will have
oregon needs to "allow" a big play to get the ball back quickly

oregon up by 1
ducks needs to "allow" OSU to quickly score (preferably a FG), so they can get the ball back and score themselves
gonna be interesting

buckeyes look primed to win this due to indecisive playcalling by Oregon on their last drive (i.e. not milking enough clock and scoring too quickly)
