Last year I had surgery on my deviated septum, turbinates and had a sinuplasty, the worst part was not being able to breath out of my nose. I can't stand mouth breathing, but leading up to the surgery I couldn't breath out of my nose. I don't know if its similar but it wasn't that bad, virtually no pain.

You have to sleep sitting up for a couple weeks until they remove the gauze.
