Completely shat the bed according to two people there. Kelly didn't care for his coaching style at all. Maybe just not the right fit for Brian Kelly.

First, big shout-out to my guy still living the dream on campus. A lot of stuff is flowing in now.

Let's get to it. So Kelly hired a "hiring coordinator" and settled him in somewhere around February last year.

So basically Kelly drops a name or three, and this guy sets up interviews, background checks, you get the idea. Anyway he's got a logbook of several names Kelly interviewed either on the phone or in person.

But most notable on the list was Petrino himself. Pretty cool right ? But apparently the guy has one hell of a handshake deal at Arkansas for that HC spot. Very short. Very quiet. All this stuff will likely be talked about soon enough.

Seems Kelly was trying to gouge the frick out of other SEC schools . A few others came up. The Arizona OC bombed his interview. NDs QB coach came through.

In other news, something I found hilarious. Kiffin has gained quite a reputation for rampant tampering.

He's gone after Kyren to the point Kelly emerged from his office and jokingly asked everyone "is Kiffin trying to hire you guys too? Be honest". :lol:

The Nuss Bus is getting one hell of an NIL Powerade deal. Ink dries on that next Saturday I believe. Damn good for him.

My guy I befriended while working for House told me he saw him again. ND QB coach. He came around while I was working there as well.

Pretty decent track record, and would follow BKs playbook pretty closely. But he might be in line for another position? Who knows.

Either way, BK has had him over for lunch twice.
