Uber, Bloomberg, Apple, Linkedin, Ford, Adobe are all customers, but basically data movement stuff that is extremely overpriced and expensive. Like you orchestrate data in pipelines moving them around, we use Airflow quite a bit.

Astronomer is actually a pretty good startup, they've raised close to half a billion and their software Airflow is used by like a majority of F500 companies, based out of NY as well, ran into them a couple times.
That’s not even true, at some point this year Reddit was accounting for a massive chunk of Google searches from most people using it over traditional google searches, so much so that google paid Reddit like $1b to train their AI on reddits data, Reddit is massive.

As Mark Zuckerberg staffs up Meta’s new superintelligence lab, he’s offered top tier research talent pay packages of up to $300 million over four years, with more than $100 million in total compensation for the first year, WIRED has learned.
Meta has made at least 10 staggeringly high offers to OpenAI staffers, sources say. One high ranking researcher was pitched on the role of chief scientist but turned it down, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the negotiations. While the pay package includes equity, in the first year the stock vests immediately, sources say.

A senior engineer who spoke to WIRED confirmed their pay was around $850,000 per year at Meta—an impressive sum that pales in comparison to the packages currently on offer. Every single one of the 11 Meta superintelligence hires is an immigrant who did their undergrad abroad.
7 China, 1 India, 1 Australia, 1 UK, 1 South Africa.
8 are PhD or PhD dropouts in the US. This doesnt include the $14b meta spent earlier this month to acquihire Scale AI's CEO.

Meta is investing $14.3 billion into Scale AI, landing the startup’s CEO Alexandr Wang to help the company’s artificial intelligence efforts.

Tim Cook literally took Apple’s market capitalization from $333–$349 billion to $3.63–$3.86 trillion (826–1,022% growth in market value since Cook took over)
Revenue went from $108 billion in 2011 to $391.04 billion in fiscal 2024
TF you mean he needs to go when Apple is consistently growing?!?

Not only did it grow to be the 4th largest, California’s economy grew at a faster rate than the world’s top three economies in 2024: California's growth rate of 6% outpaced the U.S. (5.3%), China (2.6%) and Germany (2.9%).

I played with it and its nuts, hyper realistic.
Seems the death of Google was overstated, Gemini 2.5 pro is currently the best and cheapest AI model most big companies are using, they now have their own TPUs in production and search engine bounced back in a big way
