If there is anyone who doesn't think that the fedgov is nothing but organized crime regardless of party, I don't know what to tell you. I just try to keep my fed taxes as low as I can legally so I'm not contributing to the grift.

You tracking women's basketball is hilarious. How many penises do you suck per week?

UT has been in the SEC since 1933
Really? Is that how you process things? Texas is known as UT, Tennessee is known as UT. You can't disseminate between the two in my post?

Rebel is unique. Congrats. We have three Tigers in the SEC, Auburn, LSU, Mizzou. Now we have two "UT's". A longhorn and a volunteer.

SEC baseball season hasn't started yet so calm down. We'll see you in a month as you front run, then you'll disappear when UT underperforms. I can set my watch to this script.

And some still suck after 100 years of football.
How many penises, on average, do you fellate per week?
A twelve team playoff makes sense IMO, because the SEC is going to be an NFL-like gauntlet. You've got the traditional stalwarts, and risers like Mizzou, Ole Miss, Uk with Stoops.

All but one of those were women.

Female pilots give me the most trepidation. Right, wrong or otherwise on my part. See Kara Hultgreen and recent events. Male and female brains/cognition are very different and we do different things better or worse depending on the task. I don't think if you replaced Sullenberger with a female you have a safe landing on the Hudson River.

Michael Penix Jr. was asked if Alabama will win a national championship in Kalen DeBoer’s first three years, the former Washington quarterback didn’t hesitate.
Is Deboer going to be at UA if the KC Chiefs job opens up?

The FAA doesn’t hire for airline pilots.
I certainly read about it a lot, but do you see DEI in the cockpit for the airline where you are employed?

FAA created a specific list of code words that the Black Caucus of Federal Aviation Employees were told to use in their resumes for when applying for FAA jobs. This allowed the HR Scanning applications to pick the Black applicants out of the batches and move them to the top of the hiring candidates list.

I've always thought you could just use keywords from the job description in your resume and accomplish the same outcome.

Other than my first job out of AU undergrad - back in the days when you mailed out cover letters and resumes - I've never acquired a job by blindly submitting a resume to a job link or submitting to some female marm in HR. It has always been word-of-mouth, being recruited by recruiters, or tracking down the person hiring (usually via LinkedIn).

I told my two nephews a couple of years ago before they graduated that if they spent a couple of hours tracking down the hiring managers for jobs and actually talk to them, they'd have a leg up on 98% of the other candidates. They had several job options each when they graduated.

Cuban is a person of average intelligence (I'm being generous) who was in the right place at the right time and made a fortune. He regularly embarrasses himself publicly with stupid shite like this and I expect it to continue.
This. He was fortunate that Yahoo! was dumb enough to buy AudioNet/Broadcast.com (it was internet radio FFS) for $1B+ during the dotcom frenzy. The guy is a fathead.

Would I trade bank accounts with Cuban? Of course, but it doesn't change my opinion of Cuban as a businessman.

I have a Bosch Benvenuto that I purchased in 2004. Fully automatic and still putting out great espresso shots. I have four shots every morning. It is the best appliance I've ever purchased. I believe it was $1.4k when I purchased it.

IDK what the newest Bosch machines are, but given their reputation for quality I'd at least take a look. I sent mine back to Bosch (in New Jersey) for service twice over the 20 years I've owned it, and they never charged me to repair even though it was out of warranty coverage.

* nevermind... sounds like you purchased something

Dad, as USMC pilot, was stationed in Miami during the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis. His was a "special weapons squadron" (e.g. nukes). He is the only Marine to have dropped a nuke test weapon, and it was off an AD Skyraider while he was a member of the squadron.

His log books are interesting. Every day flights out of Miami for "training." Missile Crisis starts - no entries. A few weeks later, the "training" entries start again.

I asked but he would never tell me what was going on.

A little off subject, but my uncle was an engineer who worked on the Westinghouse satellite systems on nuclear submarines. He could never tell anyone - not even his wife - what he actually did, other than he worked on these satellite systems. My family was in Gettysburg visiting them one summer in the early 80's, and a white van pulled up to their house and three men came to the door and picked up my uncle. He returned 4-5 days later like nothing ever happened.

This same uncle had an autistic child (my cousin Richard). My Aunt Judy was late picking him up one day, so he went into every house in the neighborhood that was unlocked and turned on all the water faucets. Major damage. Pennsylvania is a pretty awesome state. Similar to the south outside of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, but with smallmouth bass.

re: Is this business a good buy?

There is usually an earnings "multiple" that is the average/standard for every business/business segment for sales pricing. I'd track the multiple down for that type of business. A business broker can probably help you with that. I have no idea what the margins are to arrive and the $130k, so I'm of no help. Is the $130k NOI, EBITDA?

I just watched TD S2 all the way through two weeks ago and thought it was better than S3. When it came out in '15, I gave up after 3 episodes and held the same opinion as you. After watching it in it's entirety I changed my opinion.

Small Possible Spoiler (but is somewhat apparent after the first 2 episodes if you're not an idiot like me)....

I missed the "father abandonment" theme on the first watch (although I only watched 3 episodes), and it gave me the impression that it was just a bunch of disjointed stories. This really helps tie everything together.
