I have a child currently in this situation. I have told him to go where you are happy. If he wants to chase the money, we will support him. Personally, my wife and I hope he stays close to home.

I would say the majority of the people do not hunt in a lease as good as yours. I could sit in my lease every second of legal shooting light during hunting season and not see 250 deer.

Not everyone has a lot of acreage to hunt with tons of hardwoods dropping acorns. Sure government land is available but it’s not practical for everyone.

If universities want to stop these ridiculous extensions, someone will have to stand up to a coach. They will have to say leave if you want, but we will take care of you when the time comes. That’s a double edged sword because they have to be willing to accept it when a coach leaves.
