What you posted is from the NCAA baseball rule book. OP’s quote is from the SEC Commissioner’s Regulations, which are stricter than the NCAA rules.
Ahh ok, I really had no idea about Sankey’s little rule book. That’s stupid for the SEC to have a rule/policy that is MORE strict than the NCAA rules, you know? Like why would a conference want to punish its own team beyond what the NCAA would… :dunno:
But anyways, I’m pretty sure Two L ViteLLo was run for the second time the other weekend on the first game of their DH vs Auburn. He was coaching the 2nd game later that day…

No im pretty sure that’s not right…

Dude it all makes total sense now… this is the ump that ran Tony ViteLLo a couple years ago and it was a quick hook just like he did with Jay. And in ViteLLo’s post game conference he was asked abt why he was run so quick and ViteLLo said something like, “well I told him it was a bad call and then he said something back and then it got personal real quick”… he didn’t go into details about what he meant by “it got personal”, but i guarantee this is what it was about…

I thought Bucknham (however it’s spelled) hit the portal as well?

I think he will most likely end up coaching ball at some point in the future. Just based off of his interviews and everything I’ve heard about him, there’s no way he doesn’t get into coaching unless he just doesn’t want to for whatever personal reason… heck I think it was last year (or maybe this year) I heard CJJ say in one of his interviews/pressers (can’t remember exactly when it was) that he was going to bring Alex on as an assistant or something, that he would find him a position on his coaching staff somehow… it did seem like our pitching staff got a lot better as he became more of a staple every game behind the plate

I saw it on his twitter but wasn’t sure if that was an official account of his or not, so I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure
Aiden Moffett portal?

Aiden Moffett in transfer portal?

Name another baseball program that’s had the portal impact LSU has? Tennessee a little, A&M paid Montgomery a lot of money, Florida and Wake have snagged some high profile pitchers. But nobody has had the influx of portal talent LSU has gotten when Lipsey decided to cut checks from the gun store account
Arkansas had 15 players that started/played 10 or more games… out of those 15 players, 10 of them were transfers…

This is such a casual take…

one decent year - barely getting his team into the Top 40 in overall defense.

I agree.
Have you ever watched the Missouri head coach? That dude is the definition of cringe and it’s always so awkward seeing him do interviews and what not, hes someone who tries so hard to be cool and likeable that he goes overboard and it just ends up being cringey and really awkward bc you feel bad for him, you know what I mean? lol …
the video of the House and Wingo “interaction” on field after the game, House reminded me so much of that weird and awkward as hell Missouri HC.

Who cares? Players don’t like all coaches. So what?
Yeah but not all players are captains… you could just feel the animosity through the screen while watching that video, and if things are that bad with one of your captains then imagine what the other players see and think. If a coach can’t even get respect from their “captain”, then there’s pretty much no hope, it’s a lost cause

Dude you really don’t know jack fricking shite if this is a serious statement.
I should’ve known you were nothing but a troll when you suggested that Lincoln Riley would’ve been a better hire…
You’re complaining about a coach that took over a program on the brink of being a perpetual dumpster fire, and got them to back to back 10 win seasons in his first 2 years. With only 1 loss in the past 2 years that’s been inexcusable… while championing for a fraud who despite being in a conference for the athletically challenged still struggled to break .500… :coco:

I’m not agreeing with you on anything. The only Riley I wouldn’t be too mad about seeing in Purple and Gold one day would be Lincoln’s brother, Garrett. He’s going to end up being the most successful Riley when it’s all said and done. Just watch. Lincoln’s a fraud.
He’s hasn’t won a single playoff game despite the abundance of talented players he’s had. Every time he’s made the playoffs, he’s been literally out coached and embarrassed. Even by fricken coach O  He was lucky to have coached in the big12 during a time period when Texas was down, real down, and there was no other tough competition. He cashed in on his name and got himself paid before the SEC or Texas could expose him and make his name worthless… now USC is paying the price and is stuck having to eat the soggy biscuit.

I’d rather hear him talk about the poors in Ohio

Lincoln has more playoff appearances at age 40 than BK has at 62.
He’s also had 3 Heisman winners, and one Heisman runner up… know what he doesn’t have tho? He doesn’t have a single playoff win despite all of that… that tells you everything you need to know about him and his fraudulence

Him continuing that “pattern” the last 2 years is a good sign if you really think about it though. He’s shown that despite being at rock bottom pretty much, he’s still able to pull off his normal, usual type of coaching job/season… so just wait or imagine, what he can do whenever he has a normal typical LSU roster/talent…
I mean, idk about you, but when we fired O and were looking for a new coach, I definitely didn’t imagine we’d be able to find someone who’d come in and immediately have us winning double digit games as well as the SEC west in his 1st 15 months at the helm… I figured that even if we had hired some absolute grand slam unimaginable unthinkable coach, even then it’d still be like at least 3 or 4 years before we saw double digit dubs again… 5 to beat Bama and win our division.

just take off your purple & gold glasses. It's very easy to see.
quote:tbh, the fact that he has even won a few of those games is remarkable. Especially when you consider the fact that most of the losses he’s had have been on the road. If you know anything abt the sport, you know playing on the road in the SEC is probably the hardest thing to do. Try doing it with the roster he’s had to work with…
BK is currently 3-5 (38%) vs top 25 & 2-4 (33%) vs top 10 @ LSU.

I’m sure you thought this same shite about Saban and Miles and Orgeron. LSU is different than other schools/places. Especially Notre Dame… we don’t want him to “change his ways”, “his ways” is the reason we hired him. Because he’s a good coach who has had success. So let’s see what he can do at a place where it’s pretty difficult to NOT be successful. It’s literally only his 2nd year.

Matt House still has a job. That alone is cause for concern.
Touché on this point tho lol
I think that’s going to be BK’s real litmus test imo. Whatever decision he makes w/ House will show us what we can expect/look forward to…
