There is nothing realistic about saying Burrow had a better season than Daniels up to this point. All of those end of year top teams hadn’t happened yet. Daniels won’t get that chance and it has nothing to do with his play and everything to do with the defensive side of the ball

We do have to count ourselves as lucky. And what's really funny is nothing about either of their junior years told you what was coming. You had an idea they might be better but nothing prepared us for their senior seasons. What's really cool is the only thing similar about them is the crazy numbers. How they go about doing it is night and day different

Angel Reese didn’t play in the second half of a game early in the week, then Angel didn’t play at all in the following game. Coach Mulkey said Angel is still on the team and she hopes Angel is back soon. That’s it, that’s all we know.

Well look. This defense wasn't EVERY gonna be good. You can't be "good" in college football with zero legit cover corners. The coach is forced to make too many concessions in how he plays defense just to avoid a bomb fest.
That said. Stuff like not even ensuring rushers stayed in their lanes against Alabama was asinine. Heck, Bama didn't even have to beat our DBs. If you're a coach in such a situation, you have to pick your poison. Get after the QB and hope the DBs don't get beat or, keep QB in pocket and zone like a MFer. Somehow we did the perfect blend of neither.
