That not the 3rd base telling him to go. He was going on first contact ball down. Skip always did the same thing.

Yes, our play calling was terrible in that sequence. LSU should have gone for it on 4th and 8. Ole Miss was going to score either way. We would have had more time on the clock for the game winning drive.
