"Austin Simmons has been remarkably loyal to Kiffin throughout his young career. Back in June 2023, Simmons flipped his commitment from Florida to Ole Miss specifically to play for Kiffin. He even reclassified from the 2025 class to join the Rebels two years early. The player even credited both Kiffin and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. as major factors in that decision. And if you need more convincing about where this might be headed, just listen to what Austin Simmons’ father had to say.?

“Charlie Weis went with him, too,” David Simmons said on The Nevin Shapiro Podcast last week. “The whole offensive staff just about went with him. So Austin will be plug and play. I’m not a fool. We don’t have an issue with Lane personally. It’s business. We’ll definitely be interested. LSU is a great program. Everybody knows LSU. And before even NIL, look at how many Heisman Trophy guys came for transfers. The place just breeds good situations.”

He did LSU a favor so Lane could come down here & get started on recruitment.

I don't think Alabama should make the playoff's this year. Alabama is not playing well so they need to put ND or Miami ahead of them.
Not developing players.
I imagine the fans would have booed him. No reason to deal with that.
I think that was the right thing to do? There is tens of millions at stake if Ole Miss wins.

Kiffin will turn MVB into the next Joe Burrow.

Josh Pate was saying Ole Miss might not even get in the playoff's since they lost their head coach & other personnel.
They never gave him a consideration.
He was wrong believing LSU was going to be good this year. He thought they would be a 10-2 team.
Heard on the radio Kiffin was telling coaches if they don't leave with him now they won't have the opportunity later.
I think he wins by 20. The players want to play hard so he takes them with him.
It's hard to be accurate if you can't see over the offensive line.

Kiffin probably told him he could get him $4 million a year.

Why do I want Kiffin?

When it comes to getting guys off the portal he can win the battle for the best players. Guys want to play for him. When Kiffin sees a weakness then he's going to be able to fill that void. The only way Kelly could get guys off the portal is if he paid more than anyone else was willing.

MVB is meh. He's not accurate & lacks foot speed. He not the answer but I'd rather see him play then Nuss.
The problem is the drama doesn't look good when recruiting a new head coach. Who wants to come here if the university doesn't honor their contract?
Have you been watching the games this year? We still have the same offensive line last time I checked.

I was just reading where Brady was the favorite. The only reason I can see Saban coming is to get away from McAfee.
